The gear gets stuck while shifting. Only the second one. Up change or down change. I don't think that it is a problem of drum rubber.

Mashallah by the grace of Almighty Allah, I've purchased a GD-110. Will post some clicks soon.

I won't talk about the features and quality as it has been discussed thoroughly in these forums. There are some things I want to know. The bike had done 45 kms and there are two problems I am facing.

1- It takes quite a lot kicks to start the bike when it has been sitting in idle position for about 10 ~ 12.
2- The second gear produces a little jerk. Only the second one.

Is this normal? Did anyone else had this problem when the bike was in breaking period??

And please do share the method you used during the breaking period.

1- Always start your bike with choke on when you are starting it after a long break, like starting in the start of the day or when leaving office for home in the evening.
2- Try to tighten up your clutch setting. Maybe your clutch is too soft.

Yesterday I was speeding down Lahore Canal Road (towards Jallo) on my GD while I was running short of time, a guy on Honda 125 started following me which I was unaware of. He came close to me and asked me something which I could not hear, I slowed down to listen to him. He asked me about GD's performance. I told him about my experience with this machine. Furthermore, he told me he was looking at how smoothly it was running while he was at my tail.

It felt good to see a Honda 125 rider appreciate smoothness of GD's drive even though he had not tried it himself, he just said so by merely looking it speeding down the road effortlessly. So it's just a thumbs up for all us GD fans that even 125 lovers appreciate it. (H)

Last week mjhe ek blue gd nazar aye... me ne jan boojh k us k peeche rakhi k check to karun k jb speed dete hain to Gd ka sound back se kesa lagta hai... q k jb ride kerein to awaz hi nahi ati helmet me...
Wo uncle the bari mushkil se unho ne speed di to bilkul low sound tha... means agar koi Gd kisi bike ko cross kere to no sound at all... thats why sab pareshan hote hain k ye kia cheez hai jo itni khamoshi se nikal gai

I took 3days to get info about GD-110, go through all forms, 13 GD owners, issues I found GD
1.Mileage problem, ( mostly how you drive the bike and hand on throttle, )
2. Kick issue ,( don't push/ hard foot with kick)
3. front fender not cover from the dirt. ( clean it everyday, DIY )

well why I go through with all forms, I sold my Suzuki Sprinter 2006, yesterday 26000RS, want to buy G110, as I was very happy with 110.
lets try with GD110, my other options are DYL 125, PIGGIO 125, and UD 100.. huge reason for Suzuki sprinter less maintainece, hardly tune my bike, oil change every 1000KM, and oil filter every 2000KM, clean the air filter every 6 months.
well I'll be hoping same experience from GD 110, my bike give average of 70+/l as on the speed 40 ~50.. some time cross 80/l.
tomorrow I'll go Insha ALLAH see it, grey or black I'll decide there..

Congratulations in advance. Hope that it will suit your needs. This bike is very different compared to sprinter. I've also just bought this bike and i am liking it so far. Apart from a few minor faults, there is a lot to like about this humble machine.

SyedMoazzam bro, as you may have noticed no one has showed much interest in the subject yet. So I am hoping the plan is on a halt for now. Nevertheless, I am still interested in doing it and wish some GD guys in particular and other riders in general would come forward and help make a successful trip in the coming days.

Maybe our friends here are waiting for this layer of intense heat to subside and then think of going out, rightfully so. Meanwhile, if you have any guys in Lahore or elsewhere who may be interested in a trip to Murree, do call them in and let's plan it.

Good luck with your purchase, brother. You might not enjoy the tempting fuel economy of Suzuki Sprinter in Suzuki GD 110, you will surely find it more comfortable and a quality product (not undermining the quality of Sprinter, I hardly remember anyone EVER complaining about any issues in Sprinter besides its well-known hard seat issue - no engine complaints ever, remarkable!)

And if you are to consider any other machine alongside Suzuki GD 110, then let that be Ravi Piaggio; please keep the other names you mentioned out of your list. These two are really good contenders for your next bike in my point of view.

I hate to do it, but let me highlight an issue I am facing my GD now a days: it struggles to "breath" as I push the throttle. It seems to have lost its high-end power. Its pick is good at lower speeds - it goes from 0 to 60 km/h in a reasonable amount of time, but accelerates sluggishly beyond that mark. I talked to a Suzuki mechanic and he said its air filter might be chocked up, but I cleaned its air filter only a few weeks ago. He further said I should bring it to him on next oil change and get it tuned. So I am waiting for the next tune up and see if the problem is fixed. The last resort would be to open up the fuel supply (enrich the mixture) to its already fuel-thirsty engine.

Brother mujhe lagta hai k aap ka petrol sahi nahi hai. Aap kisi doosri jagah se dalwa ker dekho. Mixture ki setting bhee hoo sakti hai lekin mujhe aisa lagta hai k aap jahan se petrol dalwa rahay hain woh cheating ker rahay hain.

I would also like to agree with dongiovanni bro. I myself victim of this. My Sprinter was not going beyond 60 - 70 mark and I found it the bad petrol. I immediately drained/changed the petrol and poured in fresh petrol from a good pump and my Sprinter got back to life.

While I wish this would help me, but I have got fuel from several fuel stations in the past few days; however, I do not find any improvement in fuel consumption. So the possibility of fuel stealing sounds inapplicable in this case.
