bro was this filter replaced while first tuning & is it available at suzuki shops?
Honda india is giving these kinda filters in their bikes and i guess its maintenance free filter
these kinda filter are more easier to work with they can be easily cleaned with compressed air

You are welcome, brother. Yes, it is service-free filter. It does not need replacement, all you need to do is clean it with compressor.

I am not sure if spare filters are available at Suzuki. I'll ask tomorrow Insha Allah when I go there for mixture setting.

If i remember correctly your bikes tappets are untouched
i would advise get tappets adjusted also i would have not suggested this
but as you are having fuel average issue why not trying adjusting tappets too
I guess Waqar's GD tappets were adjusted by mechanic while first tuning
he is getting very good average from his bike & so others are pretty fine too
so i would advise its good you get checked tappets also & see if the same airfilter is available
at suzuki showroom than purchase and replace keep the original or stock filter also do not throw it

I suggest you must try out all these may be they are also effecting fuel average
and which mechanic you are going to visit same or some other suzuki mechanic

Well this is a paper type air filter and there is nothing as a maintenance free airfilter or a life long one until unless ur using something as expensive as a K&Ns air filter!

U must replace this filter when it becomes oily/greasey/dark... No matter how well it is made it should just be used no more than 3-4,000kms.... Personally I would change it at every 2nd or 3rd tuning as a rule.

This is simply a marketing bull-**** by Suzuki guys! They couldn't fit a washable foam type filter in it and they named this one as "maintenance free"

Bai my Junoon has a paper type filter built into a metal frame and costs 200rs now... But karwana parta ha change wo b? Paper type filter jitna bhi acha ho? 1. It has a limited life 2. It only works best when new and clean 3. It starts to choke ur bike when oily, geeasey/wet... Won't let air pass through it.

Hence yar don't use it for too long, ud just increase ur fuel costs and would have a bad idling bike.

Thank you for this valuable information, bro. Yes, Honda is taking lead in this department by offering foam-type air filters in CG 125 and CD 100. They are the true maintenance-free filters - you just need to wash them and they are good to go.

Oh didnt notice that so they are using a combo!
Is the foam filter oiled? Or they place it dry? Dry would have no use... Has it any self moisturizing system?

Yes if it's used in combo then surely it can last 5ks or plus kms!

i think paper filters are better as there is less hassle as compare to foam filters while cleaning them
and paper filter should not be too costy so replacing them and getting brand new is not a big deal too

i had bought an foam filter for my CG deluxe don't know which bikes filters shop waala gave me
some days ago i tried to use that foam on my pridor 100 but it was small in size as compare to pridor filter
i was just experimenting it but while wrapping it on filter jaali with just a little bit of pull foam torn into two pieces
filter was packed in atlas honda packing & CG125 was written on it
i was really surprised how did it tear into pieces? is CG filter having such an low quality
or the spare part which Atlas honda is providing are of very low quality

Stock genuine foam filter which is installed in pridor its foam quality is excellent
and same was quality of deluxe genuine foam filter
