dear lover....yes you are right that the parts resemble hero 125....but in my case i bought GS 150 after thorough research. and after visualising the bike with foriegn made SUZUKI Motorcycles of the same genere...i wanted a motorbike which could be converted/modified with origional suzuki parts. My cousine is 2nd hand parts dealer at shoba bazar peshawar..i asked him to provide me with the parts..the parts are actually of suzuki GN 250. (As the hero 125 is a copy of suzuki GN 125 the parts do resemble and canbe used...still present in srilankan markets...)i wanted to replace parts in way so that i donot have to drill a single hole..so for this purpose the GN parts were the nearest replacements. after the necessary replacements the bike is doing wonderfull...regarding the abs kit it was provided to me by a freind from india..i came across this part during surfing on the internet. this is mechanical ABS...though it is no parallel to electronic ABS which is so rare and expensive...but it is quite good as now i m using front break without fear of locking, it is working good..the tyre at rear has a circumfrence with the origional front tyre of 2.75 18 so it hasnt compromised its balance rather..the turning at high speeds which was fearsom previousely is very comfortable now..how ever, i will buy the origional GN 250 specifiified rear tyre when i visit rawalpindi or lahore as at my place it is not available...over all i m enjoying the ride...

as i saw one other thread , he is telling k thora sa careless hwa wo and head rockrs etc etc sab jam ogya and his bike is not giving even100+ kmph ...

suggest me guys ... m gonna buy new bike in a month

it can bear the high revs quite easily and my bike touches 118 km/hr easily. the thing is that how you keep the bike. having engine oil driven more than 3000 kms and revving it high and touching full rpm's soon after a cold start will definitely ruin the engine. whether it be a suzuki or any other bike.

and yes this is another picture..... i forgot to tell you that the front break has been changed to disk break with mechanical ABS (anti lock breaking system)..the ABS is working wonders
please feel free to comment positively and if there is any room left for improvement....

your front alloy is a simple disk brake

Jadoon bro, i can go from ISL to Lahore non stop on full throttle on my junoon, and it doesn't even show signs of overheating, let alone head/piston jam etc.... i hope one can expect the same from a well maintained GS150.... right??

^^ doing that with any engine would ruin it...
Avoid constant full throttle operation for long, veriate your speed within the same gear time to time.

ya, slowly may be, i won't mind if i had to overhaul it a bit earlier coz i know that it is because of my use pattern... but the thing is that Junoon can take it if you need it to. That's all i am interested to know, that GS150 can take that kind of beating ????

Depends where are ur getting ur bike maintained from!

yes i do expect it from my bike and have tried it even sometimes but not regularly. did it just to check the limits that it can reach. one morning found a very long road empty and tried full throttle regularly and did nt face any issue. even after 12k on the odo i am completely satisfied with my bike. have driven it for regularly for many hours without turning it off for even a second.
the issue is that the youngsters in our country just want speed and sound. i have kept a 99 cg power plus as well for quite a long time. no doubt a very good bike. very reliable. but both the bikes have some negative and positive points.
but just saying tht cg can run long triips and gs will heat up, i dont believe that. the issue is that the gs they had must be faulty or ruined to the limits.
in our country, if our mechanics dont know the work of something tou they just say k wo bike kachra haii..

and the maintenance schedule that i follow is:
1. oil change after 8-900 kms(oil filter after 2ooo kms )
2. lubricating the chain properly
3.nuts and bolts tight after 2000 kms approx
4.tunning after around 2500 to 3000 kms

rest changing the brake shoes or any thing like that, so i dont call it maintenance, it is necessary for every bike.

Suzuki gs 150 has best engine with beautiful aggresive plus decent sound but it's whole body needs to change or atleast back cowling with rear huge tyre should come with front fiber mudguard.

i inspired on the pak wheel forums and purchase gs 150.... but waqai bakwas hai.... gs 150 bi koi c bike aap chaltay hoye back se examin kr lo us ka wheel out chalta hai ,, lehra lehra ke...chain sporket me bohat problem hai her 150 me clucth choro to khat ki awaz aati hai,,, ,,, rear tyre always out,,, breaks na honay k barabar,,,,paint quality ek dam ghatya ,,, etc etc etc etc etc

exacktly boss yahe vo baten hn jin sy apna b 98k me dil tuta 2012 me. me kabhi b ayenda suzuki gs 150 recommend nahe krn ga. meray purkhon ki b toba hy yar.

here is my suzuki GS 150 i modified it . I love this bike for its ride....after modification of tyres it is so smooth to drive...
i cahngeged its front shocks, wheels replaced with alloy rims (front 18" and rear sixteen). changed the Mudgaurds
both rear and front....the chain cover has been changed too and yes the mirrors and indicators....looking forward to your worthy suggestions
