castrol aqnd mobil..no one comes near in quality..my car has donr 130k just on magnetic..with cng..so its uperbb...and in my 125 i always used gtx..now active 4t is available which is a perfect oil for bike...ZIC is just a crap with fake specification..search any site and see that there is no 100% synthetic 10w/40 oil..lolzz also zic hiflo is 20w-50 api sm..biggest drama ..an api sm is alwaus in rangre of 1w--40w max..

and see for yourself..does any company in the world recommend zic ..any .. will find not even a single automobile manufacturer recommending a crappy oil..
ZIC A+ ruined by friends new coure engine..sue to its fake synthetic technology..it becomes watter too early..dont waste ur engines..go for any recommended brand..even shell genuine is ver good..caltex,castrol,mobil..no need for taking risks

i am planning to buy gs 150. other bike i was also considering was ravi piaggio 125 but now i have changed my plan to this one coz i need a bike of atleast good reputed company who also provide service not only sale.
things i wanna ask about gs 150 is:-
.does headlight of gs 150 is connected with battery or the fluctuating one? how bright the headlight is because i am gonna use it mostly at night.
.which oil would you recommend for gs 150? economical not very costly.
.the last thing is about tunning whether should i tune my bike with change of oil each time as recommended by mechanics or should i tune after 2-3 thousand kilometers?

The headlight is good, if the battery is fully charged it does not fluctuate.

Caltex Havoline(black bottle) is good, you can also use oil from Shell or PSO, but make sure you get it from a reputed fuel station and it should be API SF or API SG or JASO MA certified.

Tuning interval depends on your riding style and conditions. If you ride normally, change the lubricant and wash the air filter regularly, 2,000-3,000 kms is quite normal.

and guys any suggestion as to what should I check in the bike before signing the delivery letter ?
althow ill try to check the whole bike along with each nut n bolt n shall take all the time it may take but still your tips shall gude me n avoid possible miss outs as I belive even the most expert rider may miss out basic things in a rush of excitement

Brake na honay k barabar hain ,,,, ye sub check kr lem pehlay

MOre than 10 time brake is good than honda 125.

I would not agree with u as per my experience gs is the most balanced bike i have ever rode, and for the rear tire u can call it relatively thin but it is in no sense disbalanced and about that sprocket thing i neither experienced nor heard of that noise thing ever before.

It has been a month since I bought my gs I have done 980kms with it and got it serviced yesterday so far my experience is:

Complains
So far i have encountered two faults one was a faulty indicator which occurred the very next day of my purchase but it turned out to be a lose connection in the wiring due to the negligence of the mechanic who prepared my ride for delivery.
the second is, there is a small rubber holder mounted on the from mudguard which holds the speedometer and rpm cables, got lose and needs to be replaced, but yesterday when i took my bike for 1st free service and mentioned the problem then the service department guy said that its a local made rubber item and company does not supply these parts thus these should be bought elsewhere. However at the time of purchase the salesman said that they have all parts and service items.

Tips For new purchase

1- U should arrange an engine oil of rating: JASO MA or MA-2(not MA-1) or API SF/SG having viscosity 10w-40 petroleum oil, make sure the oil u buy for ur new ride should NOT be SYNTHETIC.(synthetics should not be used before 100hrs of riding or 1500kms)
The bike comes with oil pre filled from the factory. At the time of delivery start your bikes engine and set its rpm under 1500 and let it run for 20 minutes then ask the service guy to drain the oil and fill the new oil(which u brought) in.
Then during ur trip to home dont drive the bike in top gear and dot try to baby ur new engine, the initial 100 kms are crucial for proper break in of ur new engine thus drive ur ride with varying rpms and change the gears as much as you want dont push too hard for initial 100 kms i.e keep under 6k rpms but dont drive under 3k rpms that would ruin ur engine too.

2-Don’t ever trust on their mechanics coz they are cheap a** ******** and don’t leave ur precious ride in the hands of these cheaters.(don’t ask why I m saying this it’s a long story but trust me)

3- Do check all electrical connection YOURSELF don’t trust them.

any one here who owns both of these bikes or has both the bikes in their group of friends,cousins or riders ?
