i guess so, there should be uniform sound when you leave the accelerator
Like "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" only, there shouldn't be any "bud bud" in it. Right???

Go to the suzuki showroom and show them dont go to the local mechanics they will screw it up and i sometimes hear same kind of sound when i give sudden acceleration at 1st gear.

Since i wan't satisfied the way suzuki mechanic cleaned Air Filter on both tunings, so thought to clean it myself.

Here is the filter and kerosene oil in pot before cleaning,

Cleaned the filter with kerosene oil first, dirt can be seen in kerosene oil after cleaning.

Then prepared washing solution using liquid dish soap.

Wahed it in solution...

After washing, rinsed it in clean water till all the soap got out of it.

Left it for drying in sun. Took about 2 hours till it got completely dried.

Then i took a shopper, poured quite a bit of oil in it and put the filter also inside it. Then massaged it gently till all the oil got soaked up into filter.

Then took the filter out and squeezed the oil out of it as much as i could. No pic of this step, you can imagine why

Here is the filter after all cleaning and oiling. Ready to use.

gull bhai have you used liqui moly for your GS
GS owners manual says oil should be changed every 2500 km and oil filter every 5000 km . should i use liqui moly for 2500 km in my GS150 . or should i change oil every 2000 km and oil filter every 4000 km

Haven't used liqui moly.
You can follow the manual if using liqui moly.

Which oil did you find to be good for your ride.
Meaning which gave pleasant feel like no vibration, smooth response, which cleaned engine sludge nicely

After experimenting, i prefer SGO over Kixx/Havoline/Zic/AX5.
Would surely have given Liqui Moly a try if it were available in my city.

I used Castrol Activ 4T in Junoon once and felt loud engine with it compared to DYL Lube and Havoline.
Haven't used in GS yet.
SGO is 10W-40 but doesn't make engine loud like Zic/AX5.
I use it with 1000km drain interval just like any other local oil.

Around 1200km dair month phailay li hai ,jab bhi maira showroom chaker lagta hai 2, 3 coil desk pe rakhay way hotay hai n thay says k coil ka issue bohot araha hai n mairay complain pe bhi coil ka problem diagnose kia technician ne but nothing change problem is still there

yesterday i strange thing happened.after too much annoying from that khur khur sound from timing chain side of my gs,i put my bike on olx and a person offered 85k couple of days before but i refused and then yesterday i asked him to come with 85k and take the bike.but when he came, i was so nervous(mere dil ko kuch ho rha tha jesey kuch khas muj se juda ho rha ha) and some thing was happening to my heart and i apologized from him for sale and the problem caused to him by me because he told that he had paid 2k as token money for another gs and now after my call, he refused to him and borne a loss of 2k due to me.i offered 1k and asked him to share the loss equally but he went away.i felt very bad for him now i will keep my gs inshaALLAH for a long time.i will change machanic for next tunning, will go to BJ motors very famous in lahore.anyone else gs owner can plz guide me about an excellent machanic in lahore???

Sad to hear. What is the actual problem you are facing with your GS ? The sound of timing chain is solved? Why you refused to sell when he was at your place to buy the bike ?

bhai yeh toh aap ne buhat ghalat kiya aisa toh nahein karna chahiye aapko
olx is not a good place to sale and purchase specially such an big amount items
kiya pata bhai woh banda paise leke aata aur usko koi loot leta woh toh aapko
hi blame karta aap ke liye bhi risky hai kiya pata kon se type ka banda aaye bike lene

gull bro! now can u tell about ur havoline experience?because i think u have drove it after pouring havoline upto some hundred kms now.2nd thing i wanna ask is that what was the condition of sgo 10w40 when u drained it after 1000km? reply must plz
