but problem with GS is the outdated same looks & low quality material

suzuki should introduce quality cosmetic changes to enhance looks of GS
& also must improve the quality of bike

I think suzuki should grow some balls like they did with GD. They should put a disc brake in it, match the quality and finishing of Deluxe at least, and then they can ask even 120K because of a quality product.
As far as looks go, i am ok with it. infact i kind of like its retro look. also works for touring as well as chores.

It's hard to go for smaller displacement once you ride bigger bike.
I remember, about one month after getting the Deluxe, i got the chance to ride my ex GS one day and i was shocked like hell when i twisted its throttle , that feeling of power was priceless, i felt like i am riding a bull.
I cursed myself for getting Deluxe (no offence to Deluxe lovers) , started looking for customer since very same day and finally sold it and got GS again
That being said, Deluxe does have its pros over GS. like better seat, disk brake, very good quality and finishing, agile handling etc..
It all comes down to one's personal choice.

Gull bhai is totally right i will switch to bigger bikes like 250cc if i switch from Gs150 but till now i am very satisfied with the performance of the GS.

Facing a little issue of handle getting loose again and again.
Get it adjusted and it becomes loose again in few days.
Anyone else facing this issue in their brand new GS?
What might be the reason ? Possible solution?

It's a simple trick for me. Press the brake lever, if it gets hard to press (like Deluxe's front brake lever) as soon as lathers touch the drum, it means both lathers are perfectly seated and touch the drum at the same time.
But if you feel that leathers are touching the drum but still you can further press the lever without much effort, then it means leathers are not seated perfectly and you may press the lever completely but still it won't brake hard.
This little trick has worked for me and front brake is working nice.
It can jam the front tyre if pressed suddenly at high speed.

Check for rubber holding the side tappas, they should be tight fit or else might fly away while riding. Check for handle alignment.

Gull bhai i don't own GS but i am facing similiar kinda loose nuts issue with my pridor handle too :(
believe me yaar es tarah ke genuine nuts bhi market mein available nahein hai
out of four ek ki choorhi bhi slip hogaye nakli nut ki wajaah se
usko repair karwaaya toh ab uske ooper wala nut ab loose hogaya hai
i hope eski bhi choorhi slip nahein ho warna phir khuwaari
honda mechanic ne kaha hai yeh naya le lo ek handle ka ghutka
inshAllah hyderabad gaya toh wanha esko search karoga hope ke mil haaye


in the pic you can see one nakli nut installed ab es se opper waala nut bhi slip hogaya hai

Congratulations Gull, for buying this mean machine. This is one of the best available machines in the market. The thing I like the most about it is its engine with oil filter, that surpasses it from its so called competitors. I was also in love with it once, but didn't buy it due to some issues. BTW have you read its owners manual. It was already available here on the net.

Please read on page 10. I think that its engine oil change interval could easily be stretched to 4000 kms as mentioned in the maintenance chart. I dont have one but I will definitely try it with the fully synthetic oil up to 5k kms, if I had one.

Bravo. A unique characteristic that's why I give its engine 10/10 for long life and reliability.

I came to know that Motul can be found only in Peshawar (smuggled) , and cost may be about 1.5-2K for a litre.

Yes, its too expensive for a 1 litre pack. Better pour the regular one and change at regular interval of 2 to 3k kms.

It is expensive but not actually expensive when you'll drain it at 4000Km interval As i drain the regulars like Havoline at 1000Km interval.

changing the oil is good for the engine of the bike. why will it decrease the pick? I used to change oil at 800 kms so ab tk tou meri bike ka pick he nhe hota :D. engine oil has nothing to do with pick. but if you change the oil on time, you will get smoother ride, longer engine life. and never believe on any such things. btw havoline is good till 1500 kms. the max I pushed it was till 1200 kms and it was still fine. but considering the weather of Karachi these days, its good to change it at 1000 kms

Oil has nothing to do with the pick of the bike.
It is just lubricating the engine, nothing else.
And as far as it maintains its viscosity and doesn't get too dirty, it is doing its job just fine and you can set your drain interval based on these.
