Suzuki GS150 misfiring issue

As promised, here's the update. One day later, the damned problem has been fixed. Now the bike starts without any hiccups even at near zero temperatures (last night it was 7 C), without using choke.

For anyone in FSD, the guy's name is Khalid. He's Suzuki's authorized mechanic and his shop is just opposite to the Suzuki showroom on Narwala Rd.

I guess, he has a magic touch, even though he didn't have any feeler gauges for the valve clearance
One other thing he did was to drain to the fuel from carburetor using overflow drain screw

@fanno__ So I went to the guy known as Suzuki expert. He checked and assured me that valve clearance is fine. I was thrown away by the fact he didn't have any gauges. But on my way back I bought a feeler gauge and a number 10 socket wrench, myself. This is so I can tweak this sucker myself!

For any one curious here are the tappet clearance settings for GS150.

Cold State:
Intake: 0.03mm to 0.07mm
Exhaust: 0.13mm to 0.18mm

You have to get the whole set of 32 feelers. I bought it from Perfect Hardware at Circular Rd for Rs. 650.

Starts at 0.03mm and goes all the way to nearly 1.0 mm.

DO NOT USE COMPANY PROVIDED VALVE CLEARANCE SETTINGS.

I believe they are either mistyped or are for some other model.

Haji saab, I tried using the printed values for intake and exhaust at three different occasions and couldn't get away with either o the ticking sound or startup problems.

I then looked up optimal values and they need to be same for both valves. I also consulted expert opinion such as Dan's Motorcycle Valve Adjustment

If you have a hard/physical copy of the book, you will see several typing mistakes. Heck, for intake valve, the "IN" is written as "1N".

How did you check the valve clearance? Did you set it on the TDC of Compression Stroke before you measure it?
