Haji saab, I tried using the printed values for intake and exhaust at three different occasions and couldn't get away with either o the ticking sound or startup problems.
I then looked up optimal values and they need to be same for both valves. I also consulted expert opinion such as Dan's Motorcycle Valve Adjustment
If you have a hard/physical copy of the book, you will see several typing mistakes. Heck, for intake valve, the "IN" is written as "1N".
