@khanmomar, thanks for your reply.

One suggestion was to replace the rear rim only with the Deluxe's rim and to use the same tire.
For some reason the GS 150's rim is slimmer compared to Deluxe's. Post a photo of tire and rim to ascertain how it looks.

I went to the Suzuki workshop yesterday and here are some photos of a new GS150 for sale. The looks are the same except for the price. The current price is Rs. 84,500. It has been risen as I bought mine for Rs. 83,900 in May 2010.

A minute change that I noted is that the new tachometer has the red-line indicator missing. Here is the one that is on my GS150.

its not the same company, only name is same, local manufactures of suzuki in pakistan have their own monoply to sell the design of 80s under the name of suzuki, we shud stop buying their products so that they shud realize people need change, same for Honda , and Yamaha ,

dear no doubt about corrupt and inept selfish government but still i think price here is very competative because

59k indian turns out to be 110k apprx pkr.. also verify by googling it..

no doubt about this fact.... and u know that the biggest source of income for any government in the world is Taxes.. so u can imagine how this "baroozgar" govt imposes taxes to earn "its" livelyhood... and remember that the proceds of taxes are spent on masses.. to provide them better health,education,social security,peace,properity,etc and it is obvious how our govt has been fulfiling its duties.....

so u r right , we wont even see the face of this bike for even 110k..

there is a one very simple plan to achieve quality bikes in pakistan,
just import the Indian bikes with no or very minimum duty, here in all cities plus their spare parts , and u will c how the local industry will change their attitude in days not in months , and all the local corrupt companies will either die or will start producing some standard to compete in market ,
But only if Govt is willing to do with positive nature, which nobodyu can expect with the present setup............................

According to Suzuki's website the "Price Including ST w.e.f 01/10/2010" is Rs.86,000/-.

After reading many reviews i have finally made my purchase today:D
it cost me 92300rs in total incl registration and comprehensive insurance(efu), and i have to admit it that this truly is a great bike to ride and i have to thank u all pakwheel members who posted the reviews and comments about their rides, thanks to u i am now a proud owner of GS150

BTW can anyone tell me where is the so called "Choke" is located in this bike? the manual says that it has a "Choke lever" located next to the clutch lever on the left side of the handle but there is nothing like that over there and I cant seem to find it on the carburetor either can someone help me?

Although I didn’t felt the need of it so far but I am just being curious
