Yaar i totally agree with RJQasim..u people does'nt know the power of CG...CG has more Acceleration and Torque then Suzuki GS 125 n 150...secondly i want to share my idea that y suzuki launched 2 models simultaniously...if competing with Honda then i think that GS125 is enough...but GS150 also launched with 125..i simply did'nt get it that y suzuki have to do this...this just flops their GS125 market then 150...then, if they launch 150 for competing with CG125 or to compete with other Chinese made 150 then y does GS150 did'nt made that kind of market then CG...First of all purely i think that Honda CG125 is a Legend...then attributes of CG are: Low consumption of Fuel then GS150, Low expenses then GS, Parts are much more cheaper then Suzuki, monthly expensis are much more cheaper then any other bike or brand...Then if competing with CG on road then yaar frequently speaking i never saw a GS125/150 beating CG125 on Road...even i check my CG with 3 GS150 and i beat them with an heavy gap...so how come we waste the money on a bike which dont even beat a bike which is lesser then power compare with it. So i think that Honda CG is a ruling machine and still best and will be best in future..

well bro First of all v dont knoe tht the people which u have beaten with ur cg 125 were the best drivers, i still say its the DRIVER , not the BIKE who wins the race...and this thing tht u have beaten 3 GS 150 shows ur excellent biking,..

2ndly there 2 ppl (Saifi and Malikg) who have changed their bike career from honda Cg 125 and Suzuki Gs 150 and u can observe their comments and the change they r feeling by reading the whole article.

3rdly abt the parts, well bro if u r purchasing a Quality part then certainly u have to pay more.

4thly abt maintainance costs...i dont think cg 125's maintainance costs r the lowest among any other bike,

5thly Gs series is way tooo economical than Cg 125, as GS 125 gives 50+ km/litre and Gs 150 38-40 km/litre.

And in the last, as u said abt the Sales and MArket Share of suzuki is not tht as it is of honda 125...so bro its a matter of common sense tht Honda 125 was launched more than 20 years ago and GS series is hardly 1.5 years old....so how can u compare the sales of a 20 year old machine with a 1.5 year old category...less then a 10th of it...

hmmz waisa r u guys sure suzuki have a OHC engine ? bcoz Honda 125 have a OHV engine means there is no timing chain in that bike bcoz it has valves over his head..........

And SOHC engine used in almost all other bikes..

well ma habbit is:

i start in morning w the KicK
then if i hav 2 use it before 2pm then 50 50 some times Kick some time self, (in case of self it takes 1st try onlY) no prob but just ma satisfaction.

then when i go 2 hom, on about 5 to 6 pm i use KicK (confirm) again,.,.,

wel a few days back i just for a TEST tried the Self in the evening but for 2 continuous days
it started in 1st attempt,.,

yar i ve completed my investigation for suzuki but i want brief explanation for the road grip of sprinter.
i ve realized tht this is the only bike which i need.
what i want is
1 roadgrip
2 roadgrip
3 gud fuel consumption
4 low maintainence
5 resale

and what is the difference btw eco and normal sprinter?
i ve been to suzuki showroom at akbar road and i came to know that there is no difference btw eco and sprinter.can any1 explain? and which 1 u prefer?

1 no road grip at all
2 50 kmpl average millege
3 low quality parts
4 3rd class suspension
5 best resale value

my 2 friends have decided to buy sprinter.need help for them 2. one of them use star other 1 have cd 70 of 96 model.

well bhai jaan first of all abt the road grip....its road grip is better than junoon, dont know as compared to honda 100...by the grace of ALLAH i ve never slipped on this bike,,,not even a single time wven if i press the brakes harder and harder...

2ndly abt the fuel consumption...his cd 70 is giving 50 km/litre and sprinter is giving 60+km/litre (both of them at my home)...

3rdly abt low maintainance....well u 'll b surprised to hear tht its the continous 5 month tht i havent got tuned my sprinter neither changed its oil....and running perfectly fine...

4thly abt the resale....yaar definately CD70 has the best resale among all...no one can beat it....but im sure better resale than honda 100 and junoon....aap khudd hee dekh loo, jo bike roads per zyaada nazar aayay definately it has better resale and i think honda ad junoon say zyaada yeh bike hai roads per...

abt the Quality of parts.....i have just purchased an INDICATOR and thtz bcoz bike aik daffa gir gayee thee....in this 1.5 years....

well Sprinter and Sprinter ECO just differ in design...SPRINTER ECO has a changed METER,CHANGED SEAT,CHANGED REAR LIGHT, CHANGED HEAD LIGHT and CHANGED INDICATORS.....other than tht, the engine is 100% same....
waisay i recommend to go for sprinter (NON ECO)....bcoz its a bit more stylish and may b i have personally own it...:D....wesay it depends on ut friends...doonoon hee theek hain..

well bro i read ur reply and observation...first of all you are saying that their is a rider who wins the race not the bike....so i want to tell you that i m not a rider..even though i did'nt have time to check my bike with someone on the road...cause of my studies...i check with 3 GS150 on Shahra-E-Faisal, Karachi...and all the 3 bikes are way behind me...and the most important thing, i catch them up from back...means they are ahead of me and catch them on locking position...but my bike does'nt locked then but 150's are...and i am riding my back absoulotly normal...no riding like official riders...as u know Late ker chalana yaa phir Duck hoo ker chalana...i don believe on rubbish like these...Secondly yaar...Honda, yes is not making that kind of quality bikes then they made before...but still not that bad...Suzuki just launched the series so thats y they have to maintain some good quality so that they can overcome market...but still i say that CG is CG when it come to race and when it comes to quality....Thirdly Honda Genuine parts are costly too but not that then Suzuki...and also what u will do with such a parts who can't beat CG....and CG is more economical and more cheaper in maintainence then GS...in last i only say that i never prefer someone or something who does'nt have a quality...and CG have a very high ranges of Quality then Suzuki....If u want proof...tell any of your member who lived in Karachi and think that GS150 can beat Honda CG then send him to me and let me check with him...If i'll be beaten then i will sell my bike and buy from one of GS series....

but go through all pages of this thread and view the reviews of THIRD PERSONS....

i tell u again tht there r two users who r currently the users og GS 150 and were the users of CG 125 before it.... and u can see their reviews by browsing through each and every page of this thread.....
SAIFI has completely described abt GS's advantages over CG 125 and infact, performance wise too....
MALIKG is a new user and recently purchased his bike and hence the bike is in RUNNING so he cant tell much abt peroformance but still see wut he says abt its QUALITY..

Today i was buyin somethin for my bike and went into suzuki showroom nearby. I asked the sales person hows the Sprinter sales goin he said stock is finished and now hes booking bikes he said the people who have booked there bikes last month will get em this week.. so if u want sprinter u need to wait :p~

In opposite Wind, cg125 sucks a big time, have kept 3 cg125s' , 2 of them for a short period, one for more then 9 years the 1996 one, sold it recently, in opposing winds, the same bike which can go upto 110 km/hour can only go at 70 kms/hour and this happened with me on two trips going to hyderabad and back on Super Highway.
I am sure 150 will do better, the size of its Cylinder tells me.
