being too much optimistic by nature I follow no news is good news... but the fact is these old engines unless restored with OEM parts and fitted with factory specs do not last really long may be few thousand KMs before they need attention again.
better to opt for a brand new engines which come with warranty and you can toss them in any chassis and abuse them and they would still last half decade until you are not horny enough any more to rev them beyond limits....
