okay we are all bike enthusiasts and are mourning for the biker but we have to address the real issue that is, why were they racing on public roads in the first place? someone else could have gotten really hurt and it would've been the 'racer' 's fault.

The government should build separate tracks where the the bikers can do whatever they want without hurting others but its normal every Sunday bikers gather at specific place and do stunts and drag races on sports bike.Even i go to the track every Sunday in Karachi but the track in Karachi is way safer than Lahore cause there is no traffic at all.

I was actually waiting for this thread to be posted. I reached the track about 10 minutes after the crash, Alhamdulilah the rider is safe. Yes the two hayabusa's were having a drag next to each other on the same side of the road. Eventually one of the busa's lost control, and by what i've heard is that the busa crashed into a car, not sure about it though. The rider suffered minor injuries, couple of scratches on his hands and arms, thank God he was wearing a helmet and it did its job. riders gather here every sunday in the evening and it is the main road leading to the airport, hence a lot of traffic. Although the bikers are smart enough to look out for traffic but still it is not a safe place, especially when they exceed speed of 100mph and do all sorts of stunts, wheelies, stand on the petrol tank while the bike is moving and so on... And the biggest problem are the cd70's and 125's. They keep on coming in the middle of the road during the runs.

oh very sad. good to hear that the rider is safe. but the new busa is gone :(. be safe everyone while riding. that road leading to the airport from askari 10. is it the same road?

No no. When u go to the airport from bhatta chowk, and u turn left for the airport, thats the road. The one under the bridge exiting the airport. The busa handled it pretty well i think, the nose and the fairing got damaged and the front wheel mechanicals.

Biggest problem is not the 70s and the 125s commuters they also payed the same tax to commute on the roads ... the Problem is these Wealthy racers who not only put there own lives on risk but also put others life into danger .... Think about it waleed... there are many Weraan Roads in Bahria and Valencia instead of doing wheelie they must choose wisely where to race.

And the biggest problem are the cd70's and 125's. They keep on coming in the middle of the road during the runs.

first of all its really nice to see rider is safe nothing is more important than life :)
but very sad to see this crash but what was the cause of loosing control?
it is really unpleasant sight to see Hayabusa torn i think bike has faced good damage :(
i hope its body kit is only torn and no damage to wheels and handle alignment of bike :(

Bro as i said earlier both bikes were drag racing and one of the busa lost control due to pulling front brake you know how dangerous disk brakes are and even in the video you can see the smoke coming out from the front.

I agree 100% waqar bhai. As a matter of fact they deserve the road as much as anyone. And i also agree about where they ride (the heavy bikes) they shouldnt do it on a public road with traffic. The problem is with what the 70's and 125's do. Everyone is given a chance in the track, both categories ride turn by turn the heavy bikes and then the lighter bikes take the track. Its what happens between the runs of the heavy bikes, many lighter bikes swerve during their time. Im not taking any sides here at all. What happens is the heavy bikes do a couple of runs and stunts then take a break, during this time the lighter bikes show their antics and then they heavier bikes come back on. i hope u get what im trying to say. If both of them do in their respective times, them there is never a problem. This sunday a yamaha yb100 guy tried to race with a r6 during the r6's run. lol

The rider was a new to the bike. He wasnt as experienced as one should be with a hayabusa let alone drag on one. He was unable to control it and was unable to stop in time so he rear-ended the car.. The bike suffered quite some damage, the front wheel was smoking, brakes gone, allignment gone handle bars, body amd so on.

^^Lol yb100 against r6 what we guys do is we ride in the morning on sunday between 7 a.m and leave before 10 a.m you cant find any single 70 or 125 at that time only sports bike and cruisers will be there.

Haha. Yes im not even joking. They almost even crashed into each other. The r6 was coming from the far end of the track and the yb was in the middle, just as the r6 guy came close the yb tried to 'cut' him.
thats the way it should be. Since a couple of weeks now, Both the parties have has some sort of understanding between them, the lighter bikes enjoy the show and ride when the heavier ones take a break.

isnt ABS standard in these bikes?
i know the person who crashed. he races a lot and risks not only his life but others as well. inspite of this crash he and others will continue to race until they break themselves or others. and yes, they do think very low of anyone who comes in their way, be it cd70 rider or a pedestrian crossing the road. when they race they want the entire road to be their own. i hope one day they learn before its too late.
