I'm still trying to get my head around what PakSuzuki is offering for the absolute bonkers asking price. Essentials like ABS, power windows all round, height adjustable steering column, rear window wiper, and a driver's airbag are just not on offer?? Crazy!

That is in line with Pakistani manufacturers policy of plundering people. All these essentials are not present in Toyota corolla basic model(XLI) in 16 Lacs , atleast suzuki has provided immobilizer which a 2.2 million colrolla altis and 1.8 million city doesn't have ..

India and Pakistani automotive industry is completely different and comparing them is not a logical thing. First Indian Rupee is has not depreciated so much as Pakistani Rupee, secondly India is a huge country with competitive industry while we have only 3 players, thirdly their cost of production is much lower as compared to Pakistan.

i am amazed a pair of wagon r fog light cost 19,000 are they made of Gold?

The HVAC system... Check it's price omg.
HVAC is basically your climate, cooling and heating system.

So if we import a 2012 JDM 5A grade suzuki wagon R with auto tranny, airbag etc through a reliable guy like sharabi we could easily get all spares (except abs and airbag accessories) from suzuki dealers and also get our JDM wagon r serviced from an authorised suzuki dealership... So spend 11 lacs on a good JDM and you've a good after sale service as well

Okay, so this isn't a bad thing then. The paksuzuki hasn't only launched a car, but has also launched the spare parts of the Japanese counterpart as well

The problem is not the size of country, it is the regulatory authority of the country and its policies which matters, check the size of newzealand with population of 45 lac and check the quality and specifications of the cars and number of manufacturers, their car sales is 1/10th of pakistan, most of the European countries are much smaller than pakistan. If we have only 3 manufacturers it is due to government policies. Pakistan is the 7th biggest country w.r.t population and still we have 3 manufacturers.Even if you consider per capita income, countries with less income have more manufacturers and better specs.

Very well said bro. We should prefer local manufacturing vehicles. One would not get after sale service after having bought a used JDM. Brand new is brand new, after all as we would never know what would have actually happened with used imported vehicle.

See the workmanship!!! About 6" portion of wires going into ECU are out of harness.

Hi Every 1
Just went to Suzuki showroom to pick my car given for service & had a chance to glimse WAGONR. Overall its something fresh out of suzuki as my eyes were soaring by seeing cultus, mehran, bolan etc etc. Inside is also good. Its a practical car & very handy for women drivers.
The negatives are
Same cost saving measures from suzuki making it a normal car instead of a masterpiece. Low quality paint work, demanding extra ordinary price for the additional accessories which does not make any difference, instead I would invest it in more better tyres & rims.
Any how I still appreciate Suzuki to come up with something fresh. Now the real matter is the performance on the road. Best of luck!

Wagon R atleast jdms say achi hai in this range..the accelration with ac felt pretty good so something a lot better than cultus.. If they can reduce the height somehow then looks get acceptable

if i get it fixed it will cost me about 2500-3000.

Nahi its already replaced just open some screws and fit it in its original position , u can urself see difference in left and right side
