last week main ney apni Khyber ka tank full kerwa k petrol average measure kiya and it is giving me 8.7 KM / Liter. how i can increase its petrol average? already 2 3 logon sey kaam kerwa chuka hon aur unhon ney sirf bari bari baaten ki hain bas.

how did you checked the fuel average bhai? i mean the method!

main ney tank full kerwa k meter reading note ki aur phir seedha super highway bahria town ley gaya, bahria town sey wapis aaya to sirf 80KM running howi thi, phir main ney city mein thori aur chalai total 130KM honey k bad phir tank full kerwaya to 14.9 liter petrol aaya. 130/14.9 = 8.724 KM/Liter

try consuming full tank to get fuel consumption..
maybe the 2nd time filler tried putting fuel upto brim...
get the tank folled with auto stop nozzel, cosime it n then refill to calculate fuel avg

8.7 is quite less for a 1000cc engine.

Have you had the compression test done? What Oil are you using? have you had the HT Leads and Sparkplugs changed and the distributor and timing adjusted? what about the air Fuel ratio? are the tyres inflated as per spec!

Get the compression test done from any good workshop, you will get to know the condition of the Pistons, rings, valve seals by the reading! Lower readings means lesser power and lower fuel average.

Use Shell 10W40 if the car isnt eating oil.
Change the Spark Plugs and Spark Plug Wires (HT Leads)
Get the Timing checked by a professional slightly retarded or advanced can cause fuel average to change.
same as with the air fuel mixture, get the carburetor serviced and adjusted.
Tyre Pressure is fine. are the tyres factory spec?

1. Engine completely overhauled kerwaya tha denter ko car deney sey 8 months pehley. means December mein engine banwaya aur September mein denter ko dey di.
2. car is not eating oil at all. Shell 10W40 which one? HX5, HX7, HX6 ? complete code please.
3. Spark Plugs and cables already change kerwa chuka hon aur plugs achey waley hi use kiye hain.
4. Tyre Pressure is fine. are the tyres factory spec? ......... ye to mujhey nahi pata

This car is very fuel efficient when in proper tune - it easily gives 13 in local driving without A/C - the most I've achieved is 470 km in ~30 liters on the motorway (mostly at 110 km/h with short bursts of 140+).

The carburettor and ignition system should be in top notch condition.

I've said that in the last sentence - carburetor and ignition system needs to be in perfect condition - a cheap mechanic can't fix them properly.

I actually use my own car for Careem once a week (Saturday or Sunday) - easy 2k+ profit after petrol expenses and Careem charges.

@ZainMahdi i know bhai my 93 give atleast 11.5 to 12 in the city.

@arifali84 get the compression test done. HX-5 is good enough and easily available.
I am asking gari mein Tyre kis size ke lage hain usually R-13 is factory specs. it needs to be done by a carb specialist.
