Aoa. I own khyber. Its 90 model, i got its engine overhauled 2 years back. Now after recent oil change, its start eating oil and also give blow (smoke). I got it checked from mechanic. some mechanic said that its ring problem. and some advised for complete engine over hawled.
What u people say ? Sound of engine is perfectly fine.

it depends on the driving style and how many kms the car is driven and not how much time back the engine was overhauled!

so if u have showed it to 2 - 3 ppl and they say that engine overhauling is needed so u should have it done!

Guys, My khyber story is different, the car was lying in my garage with very minimum use excelent engine but bad body, paint, tyres the floor of the car was very neat. So me and my bro took the car and converted it into my mean machine, Resprayed the car from Pak Suzuki in original ICI color, Then Installed new tyres, Battery, New Kabli Shocks Front & Rear, Kabli Chimta & Kamani, Brake Disks, Brake Pads and hence i got the Khyber in extreme Condition. Look at pics i will post more.

ALhamdullilah recently i purchased Khyber 1992 model in red color .. brothers really i m happy to purchased khyber MASHALLAH its going very well i went ot Bakra eid on my native village bahawalpur believe even its temprature never up.... i also wana share with you i purchased in 184 K just in and interior is neet and clean, new tyres, new bettery fit condition ...
i love khyber now :-)

On a recent trip to islamabad i got 293km on 405 rs worth of cng. I filled up from the first pump on GT road after the islamabad expressway exit and the gas lasted till canal road, lahore. In all honesty i was amazed at the kind of mileage i got. I hope my good run continues(fingers crossed)

Got some work done on my khyber yesterday. The clutch bearing and rear engine mount needed to be replaced. I think i may have broken the mount somewhere along the terrible stretch of GT road between kalashahkaku and gujranwala.
