hi i am new here and being an owner of khyber i need you guys to help me out...

1 i have a 90 khyber whos engine is in great condition, it drips water through the exhaust as well, its on CNG and Petrol. i wanna remove the CNG since it runs awesome on petrol, But i don't know the exact mileage it would give on petrol. i wanna sell the CNG since it is too heavy,makes the car really heavy and slow, i don't want it like that.

2 what is the average of a khyber on petrol per liter/km? an estimate how many km it would give in one liter of petrol

for how long u have been driving this engine on gas

First of all, I am completely changing the interior of my Khyber 92 model. I am going for Dashbord and bumpers (and all interior) of Brina (Japanese Khyber). The parts are 100% same like Khyber but quality is 400% better then the local Khyber parts. Meter is very rich (RPM included) and logo on dash board is of Brina instead of “Suzuki” Which I could change to Suzuki later. I am just worried about the market value of my khaber, whether this thing impact negatively or positively on market value of my car???? Please guide me....<o:p></o:p>

Secondly, Can any body tell me what should be the size of tyres if I use 13’ rims / Alloye Rim? As my car kisses speed breakers. Also I have to change front shocks should I go for 2<SUP>nd</SUP> hand (kabli) shocks or new one(also where to buy new and how much will it cost me)?<o:p></o:p>

Thirdly, I am going to give complete contract in “Bilal Gunj Lahore” in which the AC is also covered, the thing is that this ac will have “kabli” AC compressor, condenser etc. Is there any thing to worry about kabli ac or no??<o:p></o:p>

Congratulations on the purchase.
Yes it will affect the market value of your car but if you plan to keep the car with you then the conversion should be worth it.
If you plan to keep the car with you then go for it otherwise leave it as it is.

You can use 165 in 65 profile or 175 in 70 profile.
IMO donot upgrade to a tyre size bigger than 175 on the 13" rim.
About the car hitting on speed breakers than either get hard springs in the rear or get 1" spacers placed in the rear.
Im not much in favour of kabli stuff so I would reccomend you new shock absorbers.
Here in Rwp the front shocks are available for Rs.5200 "KYB" and Japanese springs for 1700.
Dont know about the rates fo kabli ones.

Once again I would say that go for a new compressor.
Denso is expensive, You can either get new Success or Sanden compressor at much cheaper rates than Denso.
You have no guaruntee about the kabli compressor that has it been repaired or not?

It will decrease the resale value of the car as people only want cars in "GENIAN" condition.
They would even look over a neatly re-done car for a car that is falling apart but is still in its original paint.

I am changing to Alloy Rims so I have two original Suzuki Cultus rims in excelent condition, I am willing to sell them in 2500 each.
Plus I have two original Suzuki Cultus wheel cups too, if any body interested, I will give them in 800 each.

today i did a burnout in my khyber...it was alaaa burnout first i did on cng ...then on petrol the only negative effect i found was my tire got fu**d up :s but thats okay i had fun

lol....look after all bush and axle as well..they get the most of the damage if burnout is not smooth

did burnout on saaf suthri road with some sand on it so i think it was smoth i my car didnt take much load !!

I got Khyber 2000 model.
And i doubt tht any car in 1000cc category can beat its performance just too good.(Correct me if iam wrong)

Awesome car because i have Khyber 2000 model too. And believe me or not when i stand beside it, every time some1 comes and praise its beauty MashAllah. Really good car bro no doubt this is the best looking car in 1000cc. I will never sell mine untill i get an awesome honda or corolla

thats cuz of not having LSD gear box

with lsd both spin

without it.....any tyre which gets spining first takes all the power

well..thats an big issue....get it checked from 15....it might have some issue regarding theft ...

otherwise if its clear it can reduce yr car value

Thanks for such an informative club running. Im going to put some issues which are v common to khybers. Hope you guys can help

-1 Side mirrors, I mean they are big negatives. They are never aligned properly. I have replaced them 2-3 times yet they turn at an angle where they show nothing useful. What you guys suggest what to do with them? or any possible alternatives. Where to buy from??

2- Wipers, They don't make noises now, got them fixed from electrician but they leave some water. Which in rain means decreasing visibility even more especially at night. Suggest a solution!

3- The window washers clogged ever other day. I have replaced the bottle and tubings and go bigger washers but no luck. How you guys cope with it?

4- Head lights. I have rather 60 watt bulbs. which means light is OK. So what you guys recommend should I go for 120 watts? will they put some sort load on my car's electrical system. Which company bulbs you recommend and whats the price! need working experience with that.

5- Finally I want to install fog lights. and I want a separate switch for them. But I hate to have that manual Aeroplane style switch in my car's dash.That basically ruins everything around. What you guys suggest for that?
