Suzuki liana over heating! help please

Liana Needle never gone to half mark on Temp gauge, its sits below the half mark and that's the right position for it, if by any chance its going above it you car heating/cooling system will not work. Will post its pic today.

Lianas needle should be half way up, a little less then half if your cars didnt, Your car definetly needs a mechanic

my car is running on direct fan that the reason I did in the fair of overheating will set it to original setting before making the fan direct my temperature gauge needle used to be in middle of the gauge thanks for your guidance

making the fan direct should be causing the check engine light to turn on aswell.

I had to change the freaking engine....and than it got resolved.......

which engine did you put in liana ?

my head gasket got burned , faced the engine head and changed it. Still engine makes some sounds, mechanic says it is of CAM CAM something, also car seems to have lost its pick-up and on CNg its not running that good

whats the solution , which engine u installed and how much it costed u

I got Japanese Suzuki M15 engine.... its been near two years now and the car runs fine.... i just got half assembly....

I tried what you did... it doesn't really work as the local kharadiya is unable to build needed engine pressure.....

Now a days cars have aluminum heads which is usually unreliable.... chalaoo kaam zaroor ho jata hai....but its not worth it

there is a myth in market that "liana k head kabhi nahi banta and just buy new or perfectly fine used head which is wrong liana have aluminium engine block and while working with such engine a guy which get the work done should use torque wrench and the trick is get the head open from a mechanic who have good experience of rebuilding diesel engine

Its not a myth.... the repaired head has valves which may be genuine but the seats are obviously used and they can never become perfect again no matter what u try.... atleast here in Pakistan.....
And once when you get the head faced, trust me the games over... since the facing is done here with a hand grinder and millimeter difference can make a big deal....

where in the CURRENT world scene the engine head is faced with a hand grinder ? in Lahore ? oh yes out there anything is possible, lahorities can beat blind people and stab school children, ... everything is possible in la-****

Heating is manufactering fault in liana specially 2006 and 2007 model I have seen 30k km driven liana used to come in carachi motor for head overhaul plus radiator replacement lol

this car is really a strange car I have kept three liana have seen dozens of liana without any problem seen many owner some are extremely happy with their liana some are extremely disappointed

bro I really don't agree with you my cxn is in car bussiness he buy beaten up car get them repaired then sell them at profit he usually deal in liana as he say the car have the best profit margins and if done properly the ground up restoration cost 50k max he have got dozen of liana engine overhauld and all were successful

If liana start to drive from fb area or end it drive at do darya will it heat if the car gas kit is blown

Try changing the water bottle cap too. (But get a genuine one). If the problem still exists, the gasket is weak and needs to be changed.

There is a pipe under the reverse bottle cap which is long enough that when you close that cap, this pipe end sinks "below" the coolant level. If that pipe is damaged, short or clogged then you will face this problem. Also, if you are running WATER instead of COOLANT in your Liana then you have no rights to complain about the car getting overheated.
