I am owner of Margalla 1994 model and currently my car is suffering from a very severe issue. I bought Margalla two years back and from the begining it has a problem of heat up after every 70 to 80 Kms. One of the workshop mechanic suggested me to install new radiator as old one's condition was very bad so I did so and purchased its genuine radiator with one year warranty from Sultan ka kho. But problem still exist, a number of mechanics checked it from every aspect and no leakage of water found anywhere (i.e no pipe leakage, no radiator cap issue, etc). Two to three mechanics has suggested me to replace its head gas kit but on the other hand some mechanics say that it is not an issue of head gas kit.
One more thing I want to add is from the last one month my margalla has started missing when on CNG even sometimes it stops running on CNG. On pertrol it runs but not with perfect flow. So I got it checked from two or three CNG mechanics and CNG mechanics informed me that it has timing belt issue and same was replaced but issue still exists. Engine distributor's position has been changed to extreme upward.
During all these checkups, engine head's one bolt place was damaged during titening of engine head. Yaani head ki aik bolt wali jagah se choriaan khatam ho gayi hain. Bolt ko heatup kar k head mein fix kiya hai.
Furthermore, mobil oil of my car remains in good condition and in full quantity whenever I check. Water level of radiator now reduces after every 40 to 50 Kms.
Now I am fed up with all this situation and thinking to sell my car. If anyone can suggest solution that will directly resolve my car's issue I will be highly thankfull.
What is the actual issue/problem of my car?
What will be the solution of head bolt place? Can stud be used instead of bolt. or anyother solution plz?
