Doors can be repaired but yes its better to replace them, overall the damage is not that much, the car can be brought to working very easily

You serious chassis aglinment and strengthen are not cheap at all the car need atleast 3 door only boot and roof of margalla is over 55k and almost complete car would be repainted

Scrap yard prices differ from city to city in Karachi scrapyard margalla parts are very expensive I recently got a quote of 12k for boot of margalla

how about pillar structures? - need from roof till floor, when they buckle in a unibody car they need to be completely removed and replaced as one piece, any jackass trying to weld two at 90 degree angle of structure needs to be shot.

Your definition of running maybe extremely shabby, it doesnt mean its safe to use. technically if you show this car to a carpenter he will claim that he can make it workable in 2 days and some lumber. chop off stuff and make a wooden box around the cab.

heated and welded doors, cut up rewelded pillars, roof with oxy acetylene welds.. the next time this car has this accident the passengers in the cabin will be extra rare burger patties.

btw - 30K for a quality paint job? is this being painted at galli ka nukkar with leftover surplus?

Well a 20 Year old Pkdm Suzuki even in original body is hazard on road, As far as safety point is concerned this car is beyond repair and should be scrapped but here its pakistan, where people restore a 82 Carry Dabba and ask 0.7 M claiming that older cars r better than zero meter hence price is high . A Normal repair job would cost around 50k for it.
Lastly 30k for a paint job is more than enough for a paint job better than the factory paint of Pak Suzuki

any guy can try to straighten something important as a roof with a jack and an oxy acetylene torch. Dont compare work on a truck with that of a sedan, a truck has a cabin over frame, the body is not a stressed member.

The POS JDM cars being imported and then being hammed up by denter painter ustaad is almost criminally bad. IMO one should do the job correctly or dont do it at all. Whoever survived this time in this car will be 100% dead if this happens on a "denter ustaad chachis keench job" the next time.

But ppl have taken "chalti ko khete gari" quite seriously

You point might be right on new cultus wagonr mehran with no clear coat on bumper and orangepeel all over but margalla nah my 96 margalla is still on its original paint with zero orange peel effect so gali nukar ka denter wont be able to match the paint

From the looks of it, Margalla parts prices are skyrocketing in Punjab.

In karachi this car would never be considered a total loss :)! It can be back in shape in less than 55-60k PKR.
