I brought 18000 km driven suzuki mehran euro2 . previous owner was using Caltex havoline 20W-50 . I guess 20-50 grade is viscous , kindly suggest me which grade should i use. i personally like caltex havoline formula 10w-30 . Kindly guide me..

Hello Guys. My brother has got 2016 mehran euro II. Can anyone guide me which suzuki dealership is best for first inspection in islamabad or pindi. We have compiled following problems that needs to be addressed upon first inspection:1) Loose bonnet lock2) Misaligned door handle3) unusual noise from engine bay4) misaligned rear lights5) misaligned glovebox door6) unusual noise from rear hatch.

Alhamdolillah my mehran is doing great,
without any major rattling noices.
its almost 16k driven in 3 years yes its too low.
will change its tires and rims soon

Have a 1988 mehran with us. Going good. Have had to replace quite a few things but realized its not the fault of the car but specially cheap made replacement parts. Where I could find custom stuff, like bearings etc. I used those. Cost 3 times as much but going strong after years. My mechanic could not believe the weight and quality of those stuff.

Also realize that things like tire rotation, radiator flush and proper coolant, proper brake fluid/ flush at a particular age is vital. We tend to drive and drive and drive till we cant remember when the last time we did anything apart from the engine oil change and service(just a good wash).

My father knows a few people in parts manufacture etc. due to a a lot of machines he manages require those stuff. Requested them if they have a size and they were kind enough to accommodate the request. Parts were not meant for Pakistan market.

recently i bought a new mehran Euro ii. and testes top speed on motor way from Lahore to Islamabad. fuel consumption is awesome. 23-24kmpl unaccepted. tested top speed nearly 130-140km/h

If you drove that car at 140km/hr the motorway then why is the Engine Temperature Needle still showing Cold Engine. Usually when a person drives for 4 t 5 minutes the Engine Needle settles between middle of Cold and Hot range. So I am just curious. It takes some time to reach motorway and by that time Engine should not be Cold in a new car.

yep thats very much wrong, the temp needle should strictly be in the middle.

i guess thats merely because the cooling system was not bled and there is air in the cooling system.

proper air bleeding resolves this issue.

but i am amazed, i guess that a new meter cluster they are giving, with those tiny strips of brick game lcds

looks nice, if only they could provide odometer in that LC strip too....

its normal with all euro 2 mehrans
mine's stays same .
if u turn on ac it will even go down to C

I also have E2 2013 and its needle never rises to middle even with full ac and speeds of 120 on motorway in summers. The needle rises just a bit as shown in the above pic

The cold air of winter sir at the speed of 135 is enough to cool down the engine below optimum running temperature.

Last week I took my Mehran VX EuroII for 2nd free inspection at Suzuki Islamabad Motors I-9. It was a week over six months and they refused to do free inspection.
Anyways after a lot of time wastage they agreed to do it.
When I came back home the car started giving strange sound from front wheels upon brake pressing.
Took it to a local mechanic and found out that the brake pads were fitted improperly. He took Rs. 300/- and fitted them properly. No sound after that.
These Suzuki 3S hasve non-professional incompetent staff. The ones who knew their work have left them and started workshops of their own.

yep, your experience is up to the mark which Suzuki I-9 is famous of, that is sheer unprofessionalism.

i would advise you to go to Suzuki Abpara, they are far far far superior in terms of customer services and after sales services, fantastic staff, friendly and straight forward and their mechanics are professionals.
