Bhaio Few days ago, I bought Mehran 2016 VXR, According to meter Car is driven about 19K. It looks like this reading is original, no change/tempering in meter/reading.

Please suggest me engine oil according to above situation. I don't know which engine oil earlier is used in this car by first owner.

i had a mehran vx 2006, i installed brake booster of alto from bilal ganj after 3-4 days and it worked absolutely fine till i sold it in January 2013. Bought mehran efi in feb 2013 and installed brake booster right after buying. It also worked like charm till i sold it in december 2016.

So i am still awaiting the argument saying not to install it.

Servo Brake booster is essential for mehran... otherwise you have to push with full force to brake pedal..and if you have full passengers and weight in car its impossible to stop car in emergency... and a slim person like me cannot push harder

Suzuki 3S has quoted me 10k for brake booster. Should I go ahead or not? My car is a certified used car and under warranty.

10k for new booster?? as far i know brake booster only comes in kabli..pulled out from old alto cultus and japanese cars that can fit in mehran

Will ask them on the next visit about this.
Otherwise would have to find a reliable mechanic in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region who is able to accomplish this task.

Go to sultan ka khoo and you find more choices in booster.. install with a bigger drum size for more power in brakes and ease on your foot.. little alteration required which in grinding stock hole to some milimeters.. not a big deal..

Also, the stock General tires that are on the car are driven 30k now but have gone too hard. How much more should I drive these before getting them changed?

Mine already covered 47k kms and i have swapped front and rear tires because front tires were little rough..i would replace tires in next salary.. k prefer for General tires again due to road conditions in pakistan and i had no issue at all with these stock tires.. only 2 or 3 punctures in total..

also stick with stock size 145/70/R12.. Improving in size will make your steering harder and effects fuel economy..

I drove around in a Mehran with Dunlops and its ride was much more smoother than mine. I live in Islamabad so the roads are pretty decent here. Should I go ahead with Dunlops or some other brand?

I have experienced yokohama tires in my previous mehran..tires no doubt were soft in start but tends to get harder with time.. bumps and cat eyes at every road in isb damage soft tires.. rest is upto you.. general tires are also soft till first 15k to 20k kms..
