I am facing similar issue plus when I filled Petrol tank to Full then Petrol starts felling out from any one of this pipe. I did not know the purpose of 3 pipes.
When I took to mechanic that why Petrol is falling out then he stopped or cut 1 pipe and told rest is ok. There is no need of 3 Pipes(One more thing I noticed that there is no charcoal canister in the car; I remember once mechanic threw it that it is of no use). Over that, 1 mechanic told me that some other mechanic has by-passed or cut the default mechanical fuel pump and installed Electronic pump instead so there is no return Line in this scenario as after market electronic pumps have no provision for fuel return pipe. Are they right?
I am confused and puzzled but your this post has shed some Light. I think these 3 pipe setup is necessary which these usual mechanics are ignoring plus fuel return pipe is also necessary.
