One of the major factor in failure of Liana was its engine (M13A). Why loving it in Swift? Originally the Swift which is also released in India is having 1.2L third gen. engine (K12B) with technology similar to VVIT of Toyota or iVTEC of Honda. Its not released in Pakistan, its just the body. Suzuki is just putting the left over engines of Liana to rip the people of Pakistan.

The award that Swift won is with that 1.2L third gen engine.

You are absoltely wrong. It was released worldover with m13a except india and still being sold with same worldover.check global suzuki site, I can provide u all links.See below links:

a friend owns new SWIFT, and he told me that its A/C is not that affective. especially those on the backseat.

Like for a 1300 cc car, he was not satisfied with the performance of A/C

Ask him that there is a button on the top of the Ac button tell him to press it, the light will come on. I had the same problem but it instantly resolved by turning the button on.

that is the fresh / recirculate air button
it is supposed to be kept pressed (light on), especially in our environment (recirculate mode)
when it is released (light off), fresh air enters cabin and cooling is reduced

i own a 2011 DX and its AC is one of the devices in this car which is brilliant.Even more effective and powerful than GLI 2010 AC.Even in summer of June in after noon it works very well.

Ask him to get the A/C air filter cleaned, it is under the front glove box, i had the same issue but after cleaning its throw and cooling has increased much more and cooling is chilling.

I have been using swift for last September and it's almost one year I've been contantly driving this car. And lemme say what a brilliant piece of perfection, performance, design, comfort, suspension And what not... The average my swift gives is about 11kms/ltr with AC on all the time. On long roots the average goes up to 14... I don't drive it on low rpms rather I enjoy driving it on higher rpms but with lower gear... it's a total fun car... Hats off to Suzuki for producing such a magnificent car...

i would suggest u spend the money and buy the DLX

ABS is completely worth the price u pay for it
buy it and someday u will realize how good a decision it was to opt for DLX

coming on the Car it is in my opinion the ONLY decent Car Suzuki has made in recent times and THE Best in class currently in Pakistan with regards to price / features / performance
