Totally depends on your driving style. Swift is infamous for poor milage for no reason. You can as much as 14km from your driving style.

You can only get such avg in isb ! Not in karachi ! Karachi is having way heavy traffic

I will give you an honest answer to this. I have my experience with this car myself and with discussions with other people who have this car as well as suzuki dealership officials. If fuel economy is your priority this is not the car for you.

The car might have good stability and interior but the local swift is not good on fuel economy. Some people may quote hybrid like mileages but keep in fact the PKDM swift is new only in Pakistan. It's based on a 2004 engine technology and the PKDM M13A lacks VVT which was available in JDM swift. Paksuzuki has not only provided an older shape but didn't even bother to upgrade the engine.

Even if you read international reviews of the car on the internet it is not popular in the fuel economy department. I have the official spec sheet with me which was available on globalsuzuki.com website when this car was being sold in other countries. Even the official rated Fuel Economy of the car in Urban/City is around only 13kmpl. Take into account the traffic, Air conditioning, etc and the figure goes further down.

i wont recommend this on any other car. but swift's engine takes the load easily. and yes i always felt the need for another gear for high speed highway driving. 120 kmph per is gaari ka engine bohot ziada chakar leta hai.

Swift have around 2.8K RPM when going exactly 100 km/hr

If this is the case I think i made the right choice by getting a 1.2 CVT Swift. Its a k12b engine and I'm getting 15 16km/l in city. Changed every lube when i bought it and no issues so far.

I drive city 15 and even I put the car into the 5th gear at the speed of 80kmph

Follow these tips and you will get a nice millage from ur swift. 1- install NGK irrudium laser plug 2. Use 0w-20 or 0W-30 engine oil, 3. ALWAYS ASK TO FUEL FILLER TO FIX 50 LTR TO FULL TANK, U will be surprised when fuel pump will stop automatically on full tank with less ltrs. 43 ltr fuel tank is installed in swift, if you don,t ask to filler to fix fuel , they fill 46-47 litters in the same tank, always change air filter on every oil change, i am getting 600 km per tank in lhr city and 650-700 on motorway - highway. Never use big size tyer. Orignal tyer size is 185 60 15

Use synthetic oil 0w-20sn or at least 5w-30 don't use 10-40..get your car properly tuned and use genuine air filter..millage will get better dont worry

10-40 is recommended.

At least you need winter and summer viscosity.

Using 0W20 makes no sense.

Yes I know pak Suzuki recommends 10-40 but in manual book its written if you want good startup and economy use 0w-20.
