Bro, it will surely give you 15 to 17 KMPL on highways. but local, it will never go beyond 11 to 13 KMPL. The fuel average of Suzuki Swift is not bad. Moreover, it depends on the ENGINE Oil, Tyres and your driving style.
Anyways, it will impress you on a highway/motorway where you will have a 16-17 KMPL at a speed of 120-140 kmh.

My swift did its very first 46KM from show room to home in 5 liters and then did 49 KM in next 5 liters. So average I got is 9-10 KM/liter (with ac in city second third gear mostly). Is it normal?

I never really calculated the average but all i know is 1 full tank is enough for me from Islamabad to lahore and back home.

I did 514KM from SKT-ISLB and ISLB-SKT with a full tank(1500 Rs/- Hi-Octane) total was around ~42 liters, still have 2 points left on petrol.
70-80km was in the city rest was on the GT road. I always shift the gear between 2500-3000RPM. Front tires pressure was 32 and rear was 30. On GT road maintained the speed under 100 km/h. Later I did 24 km more and didn't hit the reserve at that point.

It's Swift 2016 DLX with 64k milage, total stock.

514 km in 42 liters...it makes around 12.5 kilometers per liter, which is pretty okay for city driving for a 1300 cc car, but since you traveled on GT road, i am assuming it was more or less like city driving... hence this average..

we recently traveled through motorway from Lhr to Isl, speed was 120-140 km, and it did 380 km in 25 liters regular fuel... making it around 15.2 km/l , which is good at 120+ speeds.

however, the point is 12.5 on long route constant speed drive is low, but with stops and goes , it's fine.

Yes, with the remaining fuel including reserve it will be around14 km/l with AC, and GT road is more like a city drive, roads are not that good.

1 to 2 RPM is very low. Car must be stalling, switch gear at 3000 RPMs and drive between 2.5 to 3K RPMs

is it auto swift?

for manual, don't drive it on 3 or 4 , of course unless if you are in such a jam pack traffic that you cannot go above 50/60 .. go on 80, use 5th gear, don't do sudden acceleration or braking, keep the recommended tire pressure, keep the air filter cleaned.. fuel average will improve.

also, if you are using shell regular , it also gives worse fuel average, use a good brand for fuel.

RPM range is kind of low.

Petrol engines give the best fuel consumption around 1200 rpm or so, but this is on a level road with constant load.

If you need to accelerate often, then its better to change gears at 2500 rpm or so.

Anyways, if this average is in bumper-to-bumper traffic with A/C, it's fine for Swift.

Personally, I have found that a weak alternator or bad ground wires can lead to surprisingly high fuel consumption. Make sure that your battery is above 13.7v with A/C and lights running.

If it's lower, your alternator is probably working overtime trying to charge the battery properly.

My Khyber is giving 10 km/l these days with A/C when it usually gives 12-13, and I know for a fact that its battery is not charging properly.
