you didn't drive a swift at it's best yet, and you didn't drive a GTi either and you're telling the weakest chassis membered charade is better in driveability and handling? every eye sees a different point of view, and focuses as per then & there circumstances that favor. Since I happen to own both a Charade GTTi and then a Swift (handling more than twice as much power stably, and reliably, daily in fact :D), let me tell you and i've been there, and done that. Swift's 140kg approx. (and in some cases, more) heavier chassis speaks of it's strength through the way you drive it, and howsoever you drive it. Whereas Charade is handicapped when it comes to handling greater power, and even if a single foot-path ride, esp. Charades happen to have the weakest mukki of all above discussed, and then the guarder rods, yet again the weakest point. It's totally out of league until unless heavily reinforced. Starlet GT is thrice as better than any given charades, and is surely a good choice too! Swift GTi still remains the sexiest among these by being a perfect hatch carrying the JDM Hatch legacy style at large & full.
