even after reading all of the comments, i'd say go for swift manual.
why? cause i have tried both city manual(sold) and prosmatic(still with me).
city is a good car, but if you are in your twenties. (although i'm not)
the only problem with city is the comfort, i haven't tried swift so can't say anything about that, but the shocks on city are simply horrible! Get a gli if possible!
i went for city cause it had a boot, and i wanted a family car. plus i wanted an automatic car. cause i drive a lot in the city daily!
but the auto one does not satisfy me, power wise. manual was better.
now, since you'll turn 16, i believe you don't need to waste your dad's money on a city, its expensive, buy a manual dlx swift. You don't need a boot, you need a hatchback that you can play with. Modify it, add little stickers to it. Plus you won't feel bad while abusing it too, since its cheaper. and if you are a typical teen you will definitely abuse it.
one last thing, whatever you buy, you will feel you should've gone for the other one. Cause that's just human nature, but don't worry both cars have their pros and cons 
although for a teen your age, swift is a good car to play with, and you can always sell it three years later and buy a bigger car by adding some cash, which you initially save by not buying the city.
and go for white if swift and black if city!
