I think its time to bring back life in this forum, keeping in mind the increasing prices of new cars and the current economy.
I have a Suzuki Swift DLX 1.3 - 2011 Graphite Grey PKDM. Lets get into the topic of maintenance , body work, JDM parts etc.

Assalam o Laikum. I have Swift Automatic PKDM 2020. Almost 26000 driven. For the past two months am facing a serious problem. While driving the engine stops suddenly, all of the lights on the dashboard switched on, steering whee and brake lock. Then i switch it to parking, pull the handbrake and switch off the ignition and then start again and then everything Ok. There is some concealed fault as at times it will not show up even after driving for 100Kms and at time twice or thrice in just 10Kms distance. Car is maintained through authorized dealership. No alteration done in car other than that i recently switched to 5w30 engine oil instead of the 10w40 being used by the dealer. Got it inspected by two authorized dealers, still no one was able to trace the problem. In need of help on this issue.

I suggest get all Circuit breakers (fuses) checked visually there might be some loosing(inside fuse) or terminal (legs) connection issue
And may be u can get it computer scan if above action doesn’t solve ur problem.

what do the authorized dealships hint at ? they must have come up with some justification ?
get it's fuse box and wiring checked thoroughly.
where do you live?

These were checked by both the authorized dealers and a full scan was also done but unfortunately, they were unable to trace the fault. As its a hidden problem so rarely shows up and more specifically not at the time when the car is at dealership.

They are clueless till now. Previously they thought that it has something to do with the wiring that might have been disturbed by the guy uninstalling the tracker. I am in Karachi brother. Car is maintained through Margalla Motors and now visiting Carachi Motors.

I am facing a issue that sometimes i find it difficult to change gear and have to release and repress clutch again… i hope it only cable loosening issue?? Any idea??because any issues with clutch plates tends to vibrate the body even when clutch is pressed

Yokohama Advan Db V552 or Blue Earth ES32, 185/65/R15. Smooth ride.

if budget is low then you can go for Chinese Tyres as well. but price difference is not that much,

1) Usually when you try to down shift and engine is above certain RPM, it wont allow you to downshift until RPM gets down.

2) Have you ever bleed the clutch slave cylinder fluid?

3 You can also check shifter cable bushes, if they are worn out then they might give trouble while shifting the gear, these bushes are located under the gear shaft box. these bushes looks like this (Blue one)

does clutch also get hard when gear lever is stuck ?
it might be a problem of failing clutch slave cylinder.
get that checked because i think swift has hydraulic clutch system, not the normal clutch cable.

@mohsan87 whats ur stance? See the table below which i took from soft copy of manual so what is my car problem among the listed ones??? I can’t understand the difference of dragging slipping grabbing etc

as per my (mechanic's) knowledge, it will be replaced, not repaired, and would cost around 6-7 thousand rupees.
