It would be surely a big help if someone could possibly guide D.I Y to install a sub-woofer & amp to OEM audio Alpine of Suzuki Swift DLX 2014 without heavy tempering to the wiring and system. PS As I just want to add a little extra bass, would it be possible to add a low density sub-woofer without amp?

my swift is 4300km run, i m noticing light rattling sound when going up-hills and down-hills as well. its not coming from engine i think, any idea what it could be or anyone faced it as well?

Can you somehow identify where the sound is coming from? Check your car lifting jack under spare tire to see if it's loose! Drive on a bumpy road and listen, get a friend with you as well!

just drove an automatic swift, the shifting was extremely smooth at low speeds (my fathers 2013 civic auto jerks very slightly at low speeds) .. drove it upto 70 km/hr (it was rush hour) and the rpm didn't go beyond 2500 rpm. however i have yet to test it at high speeds.

for a city drive, it's the best car. but as it's pretty expensive people would prefer to buy a city/basic corolla instead- which is understandable .

lol... yes, because you travelling is mostly on highways and the motorway... i need a car just for the city (and the occasional ring road drive)... but don't worry, a detailed high speed review of the A/T will come soon (as soon as i get my hands on it :P)

You are the first person to appreciate auto Swift.

After a Two year enjoyable Period with a Manual Swift, my sister Decided to Replace it with the auto one. NO one liked to Drive it. Tried selling it, testing people also said the Same: it lags pick. Remember that this was a Review From Those who owned manual Swift and auto Vitz also. Worst part, it Requires Hi Octane Which Means Lesser mileage, slow Speed and more Expense. A big NO :thumbdown:.

Oh right. Yes I remember your review on this. But my family friends who just bought an auto are very happy with it. Before they were going to buy it, I advised them not to - based on your review. I guess they havent driven it at high speeds yet. Maybe that's the worst part of this.
As I mentioned before, I've yet to test it at high speeds. Maybe that will be a major turn off.

Hi-Octane will always give u MORE mileage as compared to Regular.

Or maybe he is adamant to keep tire pressure at 26psi all 4, use 20-50 engine oil and change gear at 3000,4000RPM And I bet he needs to learn Tank to Tank fuel measurements, not putting fuel worth 1000Rupees and squinting with your eyes to see how many points needle has dropped:P

If you are talking about me, then I do calculate my mileage tank to tank. And being a student (so I'm always late for college and hangouts with friends) and part of a racing group which makes me drive my car really fast almost all of the times. I'm like 85% of the time redlining all gears, driving at 140kmph most of the time in the city without AC and sometimes I do cross the 180kmph mark too. And yes, mileage depends upon the way you drive, my car gives me like in a range of 9-11 not because its a swift, but because I'm not such a nice driver. There are people getting 13+ kmpl and one even gets 16 so it all depends on the way you drive. And bro, I never ever used a 20w50 in my car and tire pressures are at 33 in front and 30 in the back as recommended.

Yar Faiz bhai, I thought Vajih bhai read my post #2382 and did say all that about the swift's mileage. Sorry bro, I didnt meant to be harsh with anyone and I just wanted to clear that Swift doesnt have a bad mileage if it is in good hands. And haan yar Faiz bhai tumhari pichli post say mujhay laga tha k tum indirectly mujhay bol rahay ho so to clear all that I wrote all in my previous post.
