bro, question is not abt being euro compliant, it is about catalytic converter. all locally manufactured cars in Pakistan must be atleast euro ii compliant. so it is understood that swift is euro ii. question is, is it achieving it with Cat or without it

These lines are from the article I referred to

"An official in the Indus Motor Company said that Toyota Altis is already Euro-II compliant, but the company will install catalytic converter in Toyota Corolla XLI and GLI1,300cc range"
so it seems that CC is required for euro 2.

I personally use the OEM Copper ones. Clean at 5000 km and replace at 10,000 km.
Easy They are the best, since Copper is one of the best metal conductors.

Got my 5000 KM service done from Carachi Motors. What a great service, the staff was very coperative and organized. After having bad experience from other dealers, Carachi Motors made my day! Much recommended.

They used SGO Ultimate Engine Oil, as per their recommendation (obviously, they will recommend it! :)) and ZIC gear oil. While driving the car back home, it was much lighter and smooth mashallah. Hope it stays like this.

My front discs have started squealing I changed both back/front around 6 months back; cost me around 1800 for the front pad; dont remember how much for the rear.

Funny thing is that I haven't done a lot of km's; probably about 6000km-8000km Haven't gone to any mechanic as of yet but is it time to replace...? Let me know the best shop to buy the pads from and of course the mechanic as well (near G-11).

1800? OEM are 6000rs I think.

I believe you bought pads that weren't very good quality.

Last friday,06-06-2014 , my Swift helped to catch 2 young guys who were wanted for a few crimes and robbed a lady outside PC Hotel, Canal Road, Faisalabad at approx. 10:50 pm.

It was me, SHO, his Gun man, my uncle's friend and another police officer.

We chased a Honda CG-125 till it's petrol ran out ( LOL ), then they got beaten the crap out of them. I've recorded it, you can watch it on my FB profile, since the video contains a lot of bad words, really bad words- Who said that Punjab police is polite

You might have to add me first, since my privacy settings are on friends only. It was fun!

G11 has a bad repo of selling fake items as my friend was sold 400rs bushes of 2003 city for 4k......recently i changed my rear pads from SULTAN KHU..and my fronts dont need changing yet.
