Hello everybody,

i recently bought a 2011 Suzuki Swift DX Local Manufactured. My car seems to have a major interior problem. Looks like almost all of the interior is loose, fom AC grills to seat belt holders to door interiors and whenever the car goes into a little road bump the whole car interior makes noise like a 20 year old car would after heavy use.

I wanted to know if this happens in every or most local swift dx after 4 or more years of use or is there something fishy in my car and the car has been tampered with by the previous owner? Swift 2011 and older users please share.

I own a swift 2014 dlx and the problem is same.. I have been to Suzuki technicians lots of time but in vain.. My solution is that I m replacing my ride..

I have a 2011 dx and I have none of the problems you mentioned. On a side note, creaks and loose interior trim are to be expected in a 4+ year old in pakistan due to shitty roads and/or interior dismantling due to accident repair jobs etc. Cars 4 years or older are expected to have run 80,000 km. Anything below that and you are just comforting your mind with false information.

ALHAMDOLILLAH there is no any problem in my 2011 dx.
There is a rattling noise in the mirror adjustment panel but that too happend because few months ago i installed after market dvd player so mechanic messed with these things

I have swift bought on 9th jan 2010

I remember the date because i remember it was launched on 8th jan friday

The car remain enjoyable for first 60 thousand km like other suzuki
After it start problems
eg
Replaced break pads at 60000km

Replaced cluth and others i.e pressure plate at 75000km

Replaced chimtas of both sides cost 11000 thosand each side at 90000 km

Now car is 115000 and few days ago i saw its pad while wheel balancing and i came to know that they will lost maximum 10000 more

In short the cycle starts again

Same is the case with my chachu (uncle) swift

However the interior of swift start making noises at 40000 km

Also i know came to know that why pak suzuki enginers install low quality speakers in it

A monty ago i decided to change its speakers
When i installed little heavy speakes

Now when ever i open some sound the door pannels start vibrating exactly like the woofers i.e in and out

My upper (mirrer on roof of car to see back) also makes rattling noises and noises dis apperar when i push it a little

If you find any reamedy to this problem also tell me

Use sound damping sheets. I m using focal speakers with samping never had any issue

Sound deaden your doors with dampening sheets. Dampening helps add weight and rigidity to your car door hence it doesn't rattle and also keep outside noise out. Quieter cabin and better sound outpet as well, even from stock speakers.

Let me know if you want these sheets. I have couple lying around.

thank you everyone who replied. My car is driven approx 40,000 km.
My conclusion is that it probably happens in all local swifts in this time depending on the roads. Comparing Karachi's ill developed bumpy roads where i'm from to lahore and islamabads smooth roads. The previous owner probably drove the car in rough places alot. Thanks.

Completed 5000km in my swift after 5 months of purchase. The car has been hassle free Alhamdolillah but the fuel average is mediocre at best. The max its given me was 12.4 in city without AC. Rest its been in the 10-11 range. Doesn't seem like improving over the course of time.

OEM. Get from Paksuzuki. Swift has one of the best foglights around in terms of illumination, don't compromise on quality.
