Check the service manual. First 1000km checkup is usually just inspecting the car, tightening any loose bolts. I got the oil checked and changed on my 1000km inspection, was just curious to see if I could see any metal shavings in the old oil
Make sure to stay with the car and take a look with the mechanic, they tend to be lazy. I kept the service booklet in my hand and we both went through it, step by step. Do the same on the 5000km inspection + transmission fluid change.
I personally used the gear oil that PS recommended, following the viscosity rating, never had any issues with the gear changes. You think that the gear shifting is hard? Get them to lubricate the gear cable which pushes the throwout bearing with some Blue Grease. Not with engine oil or anything, that accumulates dust.
Change engine oil, oil filter ( the oem 900+ rupee one ), spark plugs ( inspect them first ) , air filter, cabin filter, no need to change coolant, maybe topping up if needed and transmission oil was already changed at 5000km if you followed the service manual.
