Sometime back i reported a minor vibration issue on this forum. After couple of hit and trials the real culprit was cylincer shield. Got it fixed from cyclincer shop. It was very hard to detect though. Just noting down for the help of other members. Only move towards engine mounts after you have exhausted this option. The vibration was felt with ac and at certain speed.

i'm approaching 40,000 km on odo soon. I have an AT swift. Do i need to replace :
1. Transmission fluid
2. Brake fluid
3. Coolant

Has anyone had experience of coolant change from dealership? I've normally seen people running into problems after coolant change, so is dealership okay or should i go to any other good place in isb. I'm thinking of going for Toyota long life coolant.

do as the manual suggests, for coolant I have used zic which is running fine till now, I would suggest to go for any other place rather than dealership unless something very technical needs to be done as the dealership prices are way more than normal mechanic shops even for petty tasks.

Salam. Is it ok to use Mobil 2000 5w30 oil in suzuki 2012 model almost 85k odo?
Previously I was using Zic XQ 5w40 and someone suggested me to use 5w30 oil.

I was using Zic A+ 5w20 till 75k odo but a friend suggested to use Zic XQ 5w40 and I changed it to XQ 5w40.
Another member on this forum suggested to use Mobile 2000 5w30 instead of XQ 5w40. Should I go for Mobil 2000 5w30 or XQ 5w40 is best at 85k odo?
I heard 5w30 will damage the car engine. Any expert's help needed. Thanks.

Recommended oil for swift is 10W-40. You can use any oil of this grading. I'm using Liqui Molly 10W-40.

there is nothing like 'damage the engine'
suzuki pours in 10/40 in all new cars. they have introduced 5/30 not too long ago. stickers on their cars too recommend 10/40. i am feeding my car with 10/40 and even 20/50 without any issues. so dont think so much

Try using Havoline Pro Ds 5-40 W ..It will Satisfy both the recommended need as well as provide you with a smooth and efficent engine ..I have used it for almost 60 K odo ..Well thats my opnion .. the experts in the group might be able to help you in this regard ..
