AOA to all swift owners, for the past few months I am facing an issue with my swift (2012) I feel like it's EPS fluctuates as sometimes it gets a bit hard whereas sometimes it is soft, I got it checked from 2 local mechanics and from an official dealership as well all of them told me it is OK but still as I have driven other EPS cars ( city corolla ) I feel like it is not as soft as those cars and it gets a bit hard for an EPS at times but occasionally it is as good as other EPS I have driven, has anyone faced or is facing similar issue with their vehicle? kindly assist

why are you going for such a thick oil in a brand new car.

10w 30 is equally thick as 10w 40
But 10w 40 will withstand higher temperatures and is better

Dont use SGOs. Use API SN Fully Synthetic Oil.

I also got swift auto 19 and using exact same oil.so far avg is 10 to 10.5 in city with ac and 14 to 15 on highway with ac.performance wise no difference at all.

They didn't have 5w30 available in stock . And were convincing that 10w40 is equally recommended. Suzuki ig motors Islamabad. So i was confused. Next time should i come back to 5w30 or keep using 10w40?

10w40 is recommended for swift. If you want fully synthetic. Better to switch to 5w40.

This used to happen with my Passo, even while driving, the eps light suddenly turned on, and the steering got very hard, like Suzuki FX hard to turn. Got the CV joints changed and the Power Steering fluid changed and didn't give me a problem till I sold the car. This is usually a problem with the Inner/Outer CV joints, especially when their contacts get damaged due to wear and tear. Get them checked. Also get the alignment/wheel balancing checked.
