For M Series engines, green coolant is recommended and comes stock from factory as well.

i read somewhere that Caltex coolant is very good.
my father bought one, the mechanic mixed it with water (it was not premixed) and the color was orangey as far as i remember my father told me... not green for sure...
so does this mean caltex isnt good for Swift ?

I just checked and Caltex Coolant is OAT technology, which is ok for Swift. However, the factory green coolant needs to be completely flushed with air pressure and repeated water flushes.

I've heard from suzuki motors rawalpindi that new swift is expected in July/August which is around the corner. Somehow people aren't sure it ll crash the market since new Honda City is also around the corner.

Hi Guys,
I need help. I have Swift 2015 mileage 70,000. I caught in trouble with my AC couple of times. First time my AC stopped cooling for 5 minutes and again it started. But second time my Car's AC stopped cooling for around 24 hours, and after like 30 KM's of drive, it again started working. I went to local AC mechanic, he checked and told me that compressor is so weak, and whole cooling system including condenser will be replaced. He also said that your AC will work only after 2 K RPM, as it is weak. But in reality my AC is working really excellent just like new car, even on static position, like at 0.8 K RPM, AC is working perfectly fine. I am just curious about what happened at couple of times that stopped my AC. Also I am afraid it may lead to any future big loss that I can prevent now with small maintenance or so.

I am not trusting on mechanic words. One thing more i noticed that at second time when AC stopped, before stopping my Car's blower was giving slightly weird noise and my Car's speed was around between 80Km/Hr - 100 Km/Hr and after that sound it went down in next 5 minutes.

Can anyone please suggest to check anything or suggest any good AC mechanic?

Ali, just for an idea, i just had my car's bonnet painted for Rs. 3,500 (Baleno 2004, Golden color). he quoted Rs. 1500 for bumper repaint. area was Scheme-33 Karachi (behind Karachi university).

the on and off ac performance does indicate that something is wrong with compressor ..
but do consult other ac mechanics also, it might be some sensor is malfunctioning, or maybe something wrong with gas quantity or quality... but since it sometimes shows signs of trouble and other times not looks like compressor is just starting to show signs of failure : /

any electrician could do it. Both the fuse and the relay for hte ac in the swift are located in the fuse box passenger side corner of the engine bay. My brother's swift had a similar problem a year ago, the ac would die randomly .. and would come back to life after hitting a pothole or two. after a few hours of soch beychar, we figured out it was a damaged relay.
