I have recently purchased Suzuki Swift GL which is 61400 on the odometer. Can anyone confirm the CVT oil change interval and when it becomes due the first time as per the manual?

I recently got a Swift DLX Automatic 2019 (45K driven) and love how smooth it feels compared to my old Cultus 2014. I’ve done some basic maintenance: switched to Shell Helix 5W-30, changed the filters, flushed the radiator, and added new coolant.

Now, I’m looking for budget-friendly tires. Are General BG Falcon 185/65 R15 a good choice? Any other recommendations?

In budget try Nexen N BLUE HD plus. Not sure what its price is but if it’s not available at a budget avoid then.

Sailun is another budget tire Chinese. Legal import via tyre point.

Get these​ i also got these for replacing my Yokohama Advan DB and proved worth it although matching Yokohama Advan DB is not easy. But look wise these tyres look extraordinary cool

what's the price per tire and are they comfortable with regards to road noise and softness

16500 per tyre at present . And uptil now i grade them very satisfactory because its a relative term. I had excellent experience of Yokohama Advan DB but when i was buying these tyres few months back the Advan DB were around 26000 per tyre or more. Then there were mixed reviews about newer variants of advan Db and i was using old 551 variant which proved extraordinary in every field. So now the plus of these tyres are its cheaper price, cool look from front and sides due to higher strength side wall(u can see XL on the packaging which as per the shopkeeper is for extra load carrying capability and apparently they look like that as well) and the special curve inside wall that completely absorbs the rim side wall and that makes tyre and rim look much cooler
Negative points are that due being XL they feel little heavy on the steering compared to Advan DB but with time u become used to it (interestingly i found almost zero difference in fuel consumption) they feel harder as compared to advan db but thats what u expect to get in this price and noise level is ofcourse more than advan db. But overall i am satisfied what i paid for

How as your experience with this workshop?

Workmanship is good, but part sourcing is very good. The owner Salman is a well-educated person and tries to solve the problem as best as he can, but ustad ji sometimes, if he does not have a clue, does not understand what to say further and says "purani gari main aisa hi hota hai (referring to engine vibration i had in my car)" : )

Nexen N Fera SU4: 18.5K
Nexen N Priz GX: 18K
Kumho Solus TA31: 18K
GTR BG Falcon: 14K

Nexen tyres are available through an authorized importer with a fresh 2024 stock in DHA Karachi and come with a 2-year defect warranty.

GTR BG Falcon, being a locally manufactured tyre, offers a 3-year defect warranty.

Since my average running is very low (500 km per month, with my previous car covering only 15,000 km in 3 years), I am leaning toward opting for GTR BG Falcon after completing a brake service and tuning.

Maintenance Update:
Today, I replaced the torn AC belt along with fan belt.

AC Belt: 4PK815 (Mitsubishi)
Fan Belt: 5PK835 (Bando)

Once u will see this Dynamo (Sailun sub company) u will forget every tyre. Not giving final verdict but do go to Zafcom zamzama branch and see these tyres personally and then decide

Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll check out the Dynamo Street-H MH01 at Zafcom, but I believe the GTR BG Falcon offers better value for money, priced Rs. 2500 less.

Both the GTR and Nexen tires are mid-2024 manufacturing date tires. Nexen, being a Korean brand with a strong presence in the competitive Middle East market, offers reliable performance at a reasonable price. If I were to stretch my budget beyond 15K, I would opt for the Nexen N Fera SU4 for its superior performance and 2-year warranty.

The availability of a single tire in case of an emergency and brand warranty are important factors in my decision-making process.

I appreciate your input and will keep it in mind.

Bhai most manufacturers give similar warranty most probably u will get same warranty for dynamo as well but interestingly no tyre even gets a single puncture during this period of 10000km or 2yrs. This is my experience with various tyres. So warranty is useless but u will get this warranty for all brands. Just do let me know what u feel keeping any other brand tyre with this dynamo. Actually i did all types of research and checked various brand tyres before getting this brand and even i waited for many months to get the fresh stock of it and took the risk of driving with damaged Yokohama tyre for this duration. So just want to say that once u keep Nexen tyre with this dynamo u will never like Nexen, mainly because of the look and strength of Dynamo.

Your suggestion is already noted, but this is not something we need to worry about much as long as we are buying new tires from reputable companies.

While reputable brands typically have strict quality control, a warranty acts as a safety net.

i currently have Sailun Atrezzo Elite 185/65 R15 running on my swift manufactured in mid of 2022.... after purchasing the car i had got all tires checked and they had no punctures.. tires condition is also good hardly any wear on it. currently all 4 tires are running on nitrogen,,
currently pending work on the car is breaks service and replacement if required and all belts have to be checked and replaced if required..
although car was purchased via suzuki certified car program; but just for personal satisfaction i had got all the fluids changed including gear oil and also had got the radiator coolant replaced and had new plugs installed recently.
