I hve two questions.

1, What's the story of the fuel filter in the swift? I'm nearing a 100,000kms and I have never replaced the fuel filter. The fuel we get in Pakistan is never consistent and usually bad quality. Does mine need replacement? Or servicing? Or is there some way to clean out the gunk?

2, Does anyone have access to Shershah or another such kabaar market? I am having trouble finding a part for the swift.

Shershah is dangerous area i have heard that if u park ur car there unattended on return u will find ur car standing on four cement block instead of tyres only if u r lucky
else ur whole car will be gone into pieces i f unlucky
i used to live near it but never went there for such purpose
i have heard there is some replacement established near nazimabad or sohrab goth

I usually get all my work done from Suzuki Carachi but I want to attempt a DIY for which I need the air filter assembly. Suzuki has a price of 10,000rs which is by no means cool for a DIY.

So really, it depends on the circumstance to make a part "THAT" expensive

How much time u leave your car idle after starting before driving means do u warm up ur car if yes then for how much time exactly?

My car is running towards left I think I need to get alignment done from Carachi motors!

It takes mine exactly 2 mins to warm up. Then its go time
Alignment is minor, u will have to leave car all day at dealership for such a minor thing. Try Hascol pump on Shahrah e Faisal, near Faisal base. Ask for Waseem or Kamran and tell them Ruhail sent u.

It is said that modern engines shouldn't be warmed more than 30 seconds, it is better to run in idle for 30 seconds and then move very slow for sometime till the needle is on C. Manual says to warm the engine till it is on C.

Cost: Rs. 82,120/- . Withholding tax has been doubled by the newly elected Government, from Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- (for 1301 -1500cc vehicles). Registration fee; Rs. 25,020/-, Motor Vehicle Tax: Rs. 3,000/-, Income tax: Rs. 3,250/- Professional tax: Rs. 400/-, Vehicle tax arrears: Rs. 250, Rebate: - Rs. 300, Registration document price: Rs. 500/-.
Hopefully the withholding tax will be adjusted in Income tax for year 2013-14.
Hence, already afraid of the Next Budget by PML-N.......
