You guys need to drive a Corolla to find out what bad mileage from a 1.3 is.

And if any of you have driven SUVs returning 3-6kmpl, you will realize that the swift and indeed the new city as well are much more efficient than quite a lot of cars in the world while keeping the drive preppy and "zesty"

just return from summer vacations in my swift covered almost 2000kms in just a week....It was a great experience with the ride... i enjoyed motorway alot.....Fuel avearge was also great...wid full time ac on....it performed flawless Allhumdulliah!!

Excellent service of suzuki master motors, defence. Lahore
We bought our swift from there and we have been getting it serviced from the same mechanic for the past 3 years.
They're very respectful and always ready to help.
The only problem is that it's getting a bit overcrowded now, and u have to wait for at least an hour especially if you are late.

Bought DLX from Masters last month. Will find out how the service goes. But their facility (waiting area) does not feel comfy + no A/C on generator.

Fuel cost me around 15000.

so 15000/2000= Rs 7.5 per KM which is outstanding. but it must be on motorway or GT road , within city its around Rs 12 per Km

Btw the bet mechanic there is Waris. Request him to tune your car. Then he shall become your permenant mechanic whenever u go there. The best time to go is as early as possible, that is ten minutes before 9Am

Does this happen with window open/glass down? Or with window closed/glass down as well?

hi guys. i own a 96 civic vti atm but i might be replacing it finally with a swift. its probably the only car ive enjoyed driving since my own. i have a few questions about the vehicle.

1) i used to head to the honda-tec website for all things related to my car before. is there such a reliable forum for a suzuki or the swift. i would appreciate a senior user for this info, because your experiences may vary.

2) ive driven pakistani variant thus far. there are japanese ones as well. plus im not too familiar with how many variations may be available to me. where can i find the differences listed out, or can some one tell me? im certain there arent a lot. just a nod in the right direction can get me started on my research such as model numbers etc. (pk6 = 96 ek sedan for example for my civic)

3) good car to play with? i would like to auto cross in it in karachi...

it would be nice to belong to this thread soon, thanks!

1, There many forums online dedicated to the suzuki swift that have inexhaustible knowledge, from MAF sensors to engine swaps. Try teamswift.net or swiftowners.co.uk. Very large forums.

2, in the local market, we have the dx and dlx. In essence, the swift is closest to its Japanese cousin, with an m13a under the hood. The model number is the same everywhere, SF-413 I guess, not sure. The only glaring difference is the raised front, the local swift is raised from the front to make it easier to drive over khadday and speedbreakers.

3, I often say this, and I say it again, "how good a car is" is purely subjective. You like it, its good. You don't, not good.
That being said, there are lots of Swifts autocrossing around and I've heard often of one winning or getting in the top 3.
