HI Guys..
Got my Swift DLX Silky Silver two days back from Naseer Autos Karachi.
Naseer autos guy was too helpful through out from the first day..
he thoroughly examined the vehicle & showed it to me at the time of delivery.
they gave me few things complimentary as well such as:
floor mats, white cotton seat covers, all 4 mud flaps, key rings, tissue boxes! & 3 liters of fuel as well..
with car i got 2 master keys & 1 simple key, tool box with jack, car's usual manual, alpine head unit user manual, invoice, invoice certificate, registration certificate & receipts.
Naseer Autos people were so kind till the end. m satisfied from them..

I also want seat covers for my swift..
so guide me from where should i buy them in karachi.. good quality & reasonable.

Swift navigation is not bad n sound quality I good. A lot of people saying it but m using it n it's sound is good. There r good options in navigation unit like Bluetooth connectivity with phone n ready for iPod or ipad n iphone. This unit looks cool in the dash. If u want it go for it but if u wanna save money go for standard alpine unit. But sound quality rumors r totally wrong n misleading m saying it coz we 2 dlx in office one with nav n one with alpine n there is no difference in sound quality if there is any it is very minute.

Today I asked one oil dealer about zic xq he said don't use it unless u have negative atmosphere temperature and Pakistani cars will start giving engine noise if u use it? Suzuki also recommends 10w 40 so zic xq doesn't seem suitable for swift I think I must stick to Suzuki genuine oil 10w 40 ( and for knowledge of house Suzuki genuine oil is actually TOTAL oil it's a secret)

Slightly off topic but facing one problem with my alto just need advice on immediate basis
my car alto VXR is jerking on petrol buts running smooth on cng went to Suzuki dealership they said carburettor needs servicing or replacement went to market bought abro fuel system cleaner put it in fuel tank but no major difference after two to three km of running and mainly it gives jerk in second gear should I get carburettor service? A mechanic in front of Aladin park was asking 500 for service should I go for it?

i have a swift.. 2012 model.. 6300 Km done..
recently i have noticed this thing..
like when car is going like lets say on 40Km/H at 2000 RPM.. and when u press accelerator full.. RPM jumps to from 2000 rpm to 4000rpm and then drops to 3000 etc and then starts to climb.. like RPM is increasing but pick is not increasing accordingly.. pick is at 40Km/h when rpm jumps to 4000 etc
is it an issue or normal?

i have NGK iridium plugs installed, rest all stock condition..also made a video for reference.. please tell me.. should i leave it as it is or take it to suzuki workshop?

The same happened in my Cultus once, Suzuki south messed up my clutch. This is definitely a clutch issue, slap the guy who says everything is fine, and take it to Suzuki Carachi. Suzuki South did the same with me, they drove my cultus like this and said there's nothing wrong. I went to the manager and had a zero meter cultus taken out for comparison, after which the problem was identified and acknowledged. I left in disgust.

Here is my Fuel Average for the last year so that people asking about its average can see themselves. My car is rarely used and is driven with a heavy foot mostly. Summer Avg is low because I keep the AC ON whenever Im waiting for someone somewhere.

NOTE: In the 2nd reading it was actually filled twice, but I forgot to enter the reading once, thats why it shows 54 litres filled.

is this normal?

try using it in your car. If it works then enjoy using it and if it doesn't just go to any ordinary car audio shop and ask for the remote of Alpine units that come in Corolla or City. Exact model is RUE4202 i guess.. Check my thread for the exact model

Yes, that is the sensor checking for the functionality of the ABS system. If it stays on the whole time means the ABS won't work and the system needs to be checked. If it turns off after a few seconds means that it has been checked and is working great

Its perfectly normal, don't worry, its the ABS unit initializing.

1, There many forums online dedicated to the suzuki swift that have inexhaustible knowledge, from MAF sensors to engine swaps. Try teamswift.net or swiftowners.co.uk. Very large forums.

2, in the local market, we have the dx and dlx. In essence, the swift is closest to its Japanese cousin, with an m13a under the hood. The model number is the same everywhere, SF-413 I guess, not sure. The only glaring difference is the raised front, the local swift is raised from the front to make it easier to drive over khadday and speedbreakers.

3, I often say this, and I say it again, "how good a car is" is purely subjective. You like it, its good. You don't, not good.
That being said, there are lots of Swifts autocrossing around and I've heard often of one winning or getting in the top 3.
