i guess complete checkup is due, as it is imported and several things are to be checked & the alingment is also in very bad shape.
A complete scan is needed and thnx i will replace it to an oem air filter.

Brother visit nearest suzuki dealer they will resolve this issue for free if your car is in warranty, I face problem with the sound from trunk.
First I put some packing in the back trunk panel but sound was there. So later Suzuki Islamabad find out my rear shock wore out so they take a month and replace both shocks for free...

Problems so far with a 670KM driven swift;
the passenger seat makes a chi chi sound when the car drives over bumpy roads. will get that fixed on 1st checkup.
And the left-rear door, the metal panel on top is a bit loose, or not properly aligned. My friend saw that while we were painting the garage gate.

ear All, my swift has completed milage of 62000/- and its disCs pads has wear out. Kindly advise me which discs pads r the best and how much cost.?

This is with the front lowered slightly so that the car's posture is proper and level with the rear. The raised front on the local ones is horrendous.

Mind sharing if you're running original springs, how many inches you lowered it, any issues and the cost:P
I have heard that rear springs are Japanese, and the front ones are made in Pakistan:(

The front ones are definitely paki made. Dunno about the rear ones.
I took the stock ones out. Running on custom made springs.
Tried lots of things though, the above setup is my 6th or 7th set of springs. Kept changing till got perfection. Had also used lowering springs to drop the whole car previously. That was around a 2-2.5 inch drop. Current drop is around an inch. Maybe 1.25.

Tried using the Japanese springs? I'm thinking of getting something similar done. The front is raised and if 2 people sit at the back, the car completely goes out of shape

got an idea if Vitz springs fit Swift? and i think Vitz is more lower at the front than Swift:P

My disc pads wore out at 58,000kms... It's best to get them changed from an authorized Suzuki dealer. They cost 6200/- 2 months ago.

I was thinking of getting some used springs and cut those to get 1.25inch drop....Ruhail bhai mind telling me if you have had any problems with speed breakers..??and does it touch when fully loaded..??

Never cut springs. Ever.

I don't usually have issues with speed breakers, even the large ones. Yesterday I had three people in car including me and it was OK. Usually I drive alone. Don't like passengers.

The ride is slightly stiffer but close to stock. The handling is slightly better and close to stock. A drop of an inch or so will give mostly cosmetic benefits.

Why dont you simply get JDM swift's spring. They should be the best for cosmetic/performance benefits
