381kms till reserve someone has been flooring alot..:P...the best i can get in pindi driving with little flooring is 480kms....

my light comes up at approx 421kms on ODO

btw, reserve kicks in when 6ltr is left? any idea?

Salam Friends,

I am currently driving a 2010 dlx, around 48k driven.

Last Sunday i was traveling from Islamabad to my village near kalurkahar on motorway, wen i got near chakri the check engine light came on and stayed on during the rest of my journey up to my village roughly for another 100km.

car stayed parked for few hours and when i started up again check engine light was gone, i came back to isb today and it was all good.

Please suggest if there is something i should be concerned with? or what can be the causes?

Check the sensors. If MAF is loose or improperly screwed in (not airtight) then the check engine light is likely to come on.

Im about to buy suzuki swift 1.3 DLX automatic but im having few concerns as market sale of auto is not that higher. So, please answer my queries.
1. How is the market value of 1.3 DLX automatic and hows it's resale?
2. Please also tell about it's mileage in highway and within city.
3.Is there any problems associated with automatic transmission of suzuki reported as it's locally manufactured.

similar problem i faced with Suzuki Khair agencies Karachi. they charged me for changed plugs at 15000 but the car became too sluggish just after 500kms, i got the plugs checked from local mechanic and they were gone. i wondered how come the plugs got ruined in just 500kms when i dont floor it, drive it under 3000 rpm, all fluid levels are ok, in short no problem at all. came to realise the dealership personnel looted me by charging me for the plugs and not replacing them. now installed IK20 and so far so good.

2010 Model with ABS and Alloy rims. Lahore Registered. Original documents. Total original paint except minor scratches and bumpers repaint. Engine is good but must be a lot driven as he has his factory outside Lahore.

Well Pakistan is a dusty country- engine oils which are supposed to last 25,000 km only last 7-10,000km.

I clean my air filter every 2 days and it gets very dusty. If you keep it clean, it might last up to 50,000 km who knows? Make sure to get a genuine one tho;)

it is attracting me because many people claim it would improve cars performace. but it cost approx 12000 rps. So i wanted to know if somebody has tried it...

I have an inbox k&n in my swift, sameer here on pw is selling original ones for 6000, he has a shop and imports them, theres a warranty card and everything. It bettered my average very slightly, but better mid range power as opposed to the stock filter. It needs to be cleaned with original k&n fluids though, i have them aswell but its worth it
