After yawar's post about Sound Deadening (Jumbolon) I an also inspired of his work and thought to do the same with my swift.

So i have used 2 sheets on all 4 doors and boot. one for inner side and one for outer side. It takes a little time to do but worth the effort.

OK so let the pictures do the talking.

Job Well done sir. You did all the work at once. My rear doors are still pending. I might add a layer of Jumbolon to the front again just like you did between the frame and the plastic door panel to act as a cushion

I have done this work in 3 days step by step. You already have used peal and seal on front doors and the adding another jumbolon layer will bring more sound deadening. That will be awesome.

Yes. But Peel and Seal is not the end. I would suggest you save up and get proper sound deadening sheets rather than Peel and Seal or any alternative. Aik dafa ka kaam

Love the work youre putting in your new ride. Esp the the audio gear is adorable. Adcom i read somewhere "in car audio is just as good as some of the best amplifiers in the the world!"

Just one note, please never ever ever keep pressurized containers in ur car. Most of these are to be kept indoors under 40 degrees Celcius (air fresheners and deodorants). I had one exact same air freshener burst in my uncles brand new nissan sunny parked under the sunlight and it damaged half the dash (could have killed someone). U can keep a perfume with a pump spray in ur glove compartment such that it stays upright. I use top notch perfumes and even some of those leak a bit when i dont get to park in shade.

Thank you for the kind words Sir Yes Adcom is indeed a bomb. Circuitry was designed by Nelson Pass himself who was the designer of Car audio amplifiers and hence Adcom 4 series are considered one of the classiest amplifiers in the world (H)

Yes I was advised the same by one shopkeeper. When kept under direct sunlight and then used suddenly they burst and often explode. I make sure they are kept in shady areas of the cabin, but Yes one must always be careful. I am not a fan of sticking anything to the dash like those liquid perfumes or hanging those bottles in the air vents but I think I will have to compromise. Yes will be careful and remove the Air re-freshener can soon.

Yes, that cementex needs to dry and you need to keep it open and well ventilated to exhaust the smell and the chemical essence of Cementex. I adopted the following schedule

Day 1 - Completed the outer panel of the door by applying Jumboloon with cementex. In the day time kept the windows down and door panels off. While at night kept the door panels off and Windows a little but rolled down (have airpress so you really cant tell if they are open much(.

Day 2 - left the doors untouched and completed the boot and removed its plastic shield

Day 3 - Completed the inner frame with Peel and Seal and attached back the plastic shield of both doors and boot. Also had fixed the mid-bass by then.

All worked and still works like a charm

Sorry for the late reply but that has been covered in much details earlier too. Try using the hyperlinks in my title thread and you will find a more comprehensive review. However the outside noise has significantly reduce, the doors is heavier and the inside much more tough hence the speakers are performing much well. Apart from that the driving pleasure has improved and cabin noise decreased overall

About 3 weeks ago the left side mirror was broken by a thief late night while the car was parked under my building. I suppose it was the night of the elections. Used the car for a week and a half without the mirror. Well got it replaced by Suzuki South. Back to stock condition.

Just glad the damage was minimal. May Allah give guidance to everyone.

thats bad the beauty hurts and it is really difficult to drive without side mirror.
just check at magzine line behind hashoo market at saddar i bought around 7 to 8 times, side mirror for vitz, corolla and civic 2005...
yours one might be available in the same market

Sorry for your loss brother. Its good to see that the car is insured and back to as good as new.
