civic 04-06 would be relatively heavy on fuel but if you find a mint condition ride there would not be too much of maintenance cost.

i have prosmatic and i don't think of any single rupee spent on it other than regular expense of oil/filter etc and its drive is way much better than any local (other than newer civic )

BUT the key is to find the right car which is carefully used by some uncle

well....if i have to chose one...i would choose....
1-Civic....in a heartbeat...
2-City.....only if all civics in the world were destroyed to ashes...
3-Swift...surely never coz its a Suzuki, then its a hatchback..n then i would have questioned myself...Does it worth a milion rupees??....n surely it does not...

swift as it ill b zero meter and u can have good drive for some year or 2 without much trouble..
used cars always give prob..even to get it adjusted according to ur needs,u always have to spend some dough

bro price of swift is 1058 n in tht price u can get 04 civic vti........ old civic 04 is much better than swift.........i m also thinking to buy a new sedan n civic 04 vti is in my list:)

Dear Friend,
Honda Civic and Honda City, both cars cannot compete with a Suzuki. Honda no Matter how old would give you that drive (if kept in good shape) that you dream sitting in a suzuki.
I would say go for a Honda Civic Vti Oriel. U'll get the real worth from the bucks spent on it,

Boss new is new Swift comes with 2 year warranty so at least you have a peace of mind for next 2 years..
Or if u want to use patrol dn buy LIANA RXI it has the same price tag almost.
its run great on petrol with no prob.. swift and Liana both have the same engine correct me if i m wrong.

civic for sure. few days back we also decided to sell our 04 civic and to buy relatively newer car and also thought of new zero meter swift then after imagining both of the cars in my mind i dropped the idea altogether and decided to stick with 04 civic for now. in a budget of 1 million i think 7th gen. civic is the best option. it's got all, driving pleasure,looks, bigger cabin, option of sunroof, available in both auto and manual it in plain words it's just class above both the city and swift. Even now after almost 6 years my 04 civic brings a smile on my face everyday i take it out
