@kummail; steering lock is just an added safety, yes bought door sill from shop adjacent to auto mart and that was the only one available at that shop, but you may ask him and he will arrange if not readily available there.

@Sdoger; bhai its a steel plate with written swift(with blue light which can be seen in above pic) and it has been placed on foot board , place that is under the door when its closed where it operates with door light. i will try to get some pics in day light for more clear view

yestarday toped again and it did 445 KM with 36 litters of fuel which includes three trips to Pir Sohawa and city drive with high rpm (4 and 4.5) for 100 Km almost

Thinking of installing CNG....... question is why?

i drove 6500 KM in last two month's

average was 13 KM per litter, and i was getting 5.6 Rs per KM

total spending 6500*5.6=36400 Rs in total

damn its to expensive and not affordable; ideally if CNG installed

per KM fuel cost would be 3 Rs Max

6500*3=19500; if installed CNG earlier i must have saved 36400-19500=15900

Cost of Landi Renzo with 55 Faber cylinder along with original Emu & Adv landi renzo is 55K

so i will get back my orignal amount in 8 months if i install CNG today.

hhhhhhmmmmm i was confused but during writing my this comment what i calculated i am going for CNG............

ppl if any one having any good suggestion please do post.

and Installer for CNG on my ride would be Al-Razaq G-10

Another option was Guy in front of Suzuki Azam moters but he dont have faber cylinder and 2ndly he said he will install Gujranwala made Landi Renzo Adv & Emu Cost would be 36K with 40 cylinder and 40K with 55 Cylinder.

Swift has the same engine as Liana, So I dont think you will run into any sort of problem...

Update on my swift: I would like to go for some Audio change for my Swift

thinking for so long, i made my mind to install Rockmars DVD with rear camera with no speakers expansion

went to Saddar RWP Friday eve and finalized the whole deal with shop keeper, Installer was taking his lunch

(but tried Kenwood M6932 with the rockmars for checking purpose as shopkeeper was insisting to install them at trunk top).

just watching some pioneer sound system i got my eyes on 7250UB and then to 7150UB Pioneer, asked the person get those systems checked with same M6932 speakers.

and when i heard the sound quality i straight away changed the idea of installing DVD and asked them to give me the comparison of both system and checked both 7150 & 7250 side by side and my vote goes to 7150UB

Some of you may not recommend as its an old model (1.5 years) and USB is at the back 7250 is the newer one with USB at front. but the reason for choosing this one is white lights in the system which is matching to Swift dial lights, secondly being rear USB having advantage of putting USB device in glove box which can save it from damaging through direct sun light when parked out side which is the case at most.

after installation 7150 & M6932 (as i dont want to install amplifier and dont want to spent much with already installed 4 speakers in doors) i feel the sound difference quality of the system is much much much better now and enjoying quality in the cabin

now about cost, eve1 of you interested in it.

7150UB for 16400 ( i might have bought it little xpensive as per smarboys car prices updated in Nov 2010 @ PW) but its good.

M6932 for 3100 (again some one may say i have boght them lil xpensive may be 400 or 500)
Installation 200
Box for 200 under single din system(that is placed coz i converted from 2 din to single din)
Phatta for 500

From where did you get the 4300k h.i.d bulbs for your fog lights?? I could not find 4300K H11 bulb's from anywhere in lahore....

I was feeling that throw of the AC was not good enough there is something that is trying to stop air coming into cabin; well i thought of getting my Air Conditioner filter cleaned that is located under glove box;

and there was tooooooooo much dust in it................ why coz i used to drive with AC on with fresh air at the end of winter and to get the fog cleared in winter. after cleaning air filter air throw increased 3x. yes it increased thrice as it was before so my suggestion to you guys get your AC air filters clean to get best out of it.
