My brother just to clarify something, Pakistan is not the biggest bidder in auction houses in Japan, biggest bidder is New Zealand, other countries include Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and UAE, there are many car lots in Dubai where African buyers including buyers from South Africa come and buy the cars. Each and every country has their own policies as what kind of used cars can be imported for example in Australia before shipping the car needs to be serviced and waxed, all the fluids are drained out of car and then the car is shipped. Once it lands Australia they thoroughly check the car at port, put the fluids in and verify the car with auction report and if they see anything that is not as per the law or anything tempered then they scrap the car there and then. There's no second chance and if one person brings in 3 such cars then his license is revoked. So partially again our government is to be blamed for not implementing the proper laws and then the used car dealers are also at fault for taking full advantage of the lack of laws. I have a 2007 Passo which my wife uses and we got it in 2012. The car has served better than any local car only because it was purchased and imported properly for which we paid a premium price at that time.
