Swapping 1.0 Engine with 1.3 Toyota Vitz

I am in Lahore and facing oil reduction problem. Will Abbas bhai be up for change of rings? As most of mechanics recommend swap in Vitz and not willing to do a rings job and / or overhauling.

i just viewed his comments about compression test. I have shown my car to 3 to 4 mechanics everyone told me 1KR vitz engine has problem that rings become weak and and oil will reduce . Now i am planning for engine swap to 1.3 2SZ from quetta . kindly suggest me that will it be good to swap with 1.3 . just worried about fuel average od 1.3 . I want to keep car for 4 to 5 years .

I was quite satisfied with the service Jamil autos provided. Your engine might be reducing oil but how critical is it to get it addressed can only be found out by getting either a compression test done or leak down test which is more complicated.

Compression test at Jamil autos costed me 1.5k but I had also gotten other work done so that might be a discounted figure.
