Sir I strongly do not recommend to swap a 1jZ or 2jz in your RX8, unless your engine is not working fine.

please be careful with such attempts - you will lose the weight balance of the car and will need to redo the bump steer and other suspension geometry - or you would see your car going out of control at high speeds like we saw in Karachi
the rotary engines are soooo buttery smooth - why would you want to rid them - and the dynamics of an RX are nice too, easy to throw around and it'll catch itself quick
He is trying to get a cheap deal of a RX-8 with blown rotor.
Keeping a RX-8 is expensive , the parts that one usual replaces with new ones cost much more then ordinary car parts.

why would you want to rid themSimply because in Pakistan there are no facilities to modify your rotary heavily.But I would never ever replace the rotary regardless where I am, but thats just me.
better go for 3sgte will not hav much fitment issues like jzs
why dont you put a 4B11T or 4G63 in there better then jzs

Sirs anything is possible but it will ruin the response, handling and chassis balance of RX8.
Also not to mention the lost smoothness of near 9,000RPM reving engine compare to an iron block.

^^ aint there any transmition wich can convert it to only rwdand saw a Hyundai Genesis was swaped with a 4b11t wich is a rwd car so sugested it and so i didnt just throw names i saw it on a form
