Swat or Hunza for honeymoon in first week of January

Aoa.

I will getting married in the end of December this year inshallah and want to go on a honeymoon trip starting from 2 Jan. I will be having 8-9 days and will be travelling in a rented vehicle that will remain with me from Lahore to lahore
Now please advise me which is better option. Swat or Hunza. If another option available than please share it too. I have been to swat before but never been to Hunza. So I would appreciate if someone also shares itenary for Hunza trip and names of some good hotels for Hunza trip

With spouse, in your rented car, Hunza is the better choice.

New one or the old one, Hunza is the good option. Better hire a driver as well. As it a really long journey

You can follow following itinerary (considering minimum travel time as you are going for honeymoon so you wouldn't want to be on road all the time):

Day 1: Lahore to Islamabad, stay in ISB
Day 2 : ISB to chillas (around 12 hours), stay in Chillas
Day 3: Chillas to Hunza (around 8 hours), stay in Hunza
Day 4: Free day in Hunza, enjoy lovely weather, spend time with your wife.. Visit Duiker, Eagle Nest (for sunset), stay in Hunza.. U'll enjoy sunset at Eagle Nest..
Day 5: Visit Altit / Baltit Forts.. Go towards Sost.. Visit Attabad Lake in between.. Take boat ride.. Reach Sost.. Stay in Sost..
Day 6: Sost to Khunjerab.. May be u can't reach Khunjerab Pass due to snowfall.. But don't forget to travel on this road.. come back to Hunza in Night..
Day 7: U can stay in Hunza or travel back to Chillas..
Day 8: Chillas to ISB..
Day 9: Back to Lahore..

For hotels, if budget is not the constraint, then stay in PTDC Hotels/Motels in Hunza and Sost.. For Chillas, u can stay at Shangrilla..

Thanks. Do we have to book ptdc in advance or there rooms are available on spot.
Further I have heard hotels in chilas are not that good so how is shangrilla chilas

It is better to book PTDC in advance..
Shangrilla Chillas is decent enough hotel..
