Swat Tour- Eid Ul Fitar (Aug 2012)

After breakfast went to wagon stand to get update abt out next plan of visiting Ushu Valley. Came to know that hiace service regularly operates in season between Kalam & Ushu Valley till Mahodand Lake. This news was welcomed & we got our seats @ Rs.300/- per head (both sided). It departed around noon. I took a brave decission to sit on the roof of the hiace van (for thrill, to enjoy/ capture scenery) & this decission proved very right (although it was very daring bcz of road condition & very very dusty as well).

At the start of journey, after crossing Utror river, one passes through thick Kalam forest that is a beautiful picnic & camping spot.
