zabardast tour and pics

It was wheat harvesting season and there were golden fields on both sides of motorway which was giving a really great scenery. Tried to capture few shots from moving car with less success.

One of the problem of businessman is that even when they're on vacations, they are still working. All of the businessmen were getting phone calls every now and then while I was sitting in peace enjoying the wheat harvesting. At some places, the thresher machine was working leaving a huge trail of dust in air, while at some places, people were busy piling up the wheat straw. It was a beautiful scene to enjoy from naked eye.

As the Swabi interchange was nearing, everyone started to feel hungry so we decided to stop at next stay place for lunch and petrol fill.

Bro, Swat has been cleared since long time. Its back to the peaceful Swat as before. Now you will only find school going talib-ilm everywhere in swat.

Somewhere near Swabi interchange, we saw a "Qayaam-o-Tuaam" board and diverted our car towards the area. It was quite windy but hot there. Got the tank full and purchased a few items from tuck shop which was ridiculously expensive. For example, the tissue box (OK brand of Metro store) costed 110 Rs while the retail price on box itself was 60 Rs only. I tried to record the protest but no luck. Soon, Bashir, who was on the steering also got the tyre air checked.

After the car got meal, it was time for our meal. We headed towards a dhaba type hotel behind the petrol station.

Since we were really short on time as we started very late from Islamabad, there was no time to order something time consuming so we resorted to daal and sabzi.

Although I am no fan of daal and sabzi in real life but during tours, I find them most tasty.. don't know why but I guess its because of the extreme hunger at some specific time

The daal was pretty ordinary but the sabzi (baingan, my least favorite vegetable) was very tasty. I had never eaten such baingan in my whole life. Although there is no picture of baingan (unfortunately) but they were surely the best taste. While writing this, I got water in my mouth..

After spending about half an hour, we were moving again..
